    1. My week was crazy too, Robin, believe me. There were some days I don’t know how I hung on. I woke up this morning feeling relief and saying, “Thank God today is today!” (smile) So glad you enjoyed my babies. Like all babies they don’t stay small long. Have a great day! ❤

  1. PS, I wish you a belated Happy Birthday, dear Amy!
Your Oneness post was magnificent and if you saw mine, we are appreciating the same things about Hunanity. Seeing individuality while believing we are One. ❤ xoxo

    1. Thank you, Robin!! We are ONE yet we are all unique at the same time. It’s a mystery, yet Truth. Everything we experience is a part of us, a reflection of us. Bless you for understanding we are truly ONE. Love, Amy ❤

    1. Yes, Rita, LIFE! How glorious! I have one garden in particular that looks bare, and I mean bare. I just finished opening it and as I stood there again I was amazed for in just a short few weeks this bare garden will be brimming with Life, a jungle of sorts. How amazing what looks “dead” comes back to Life every Spring. Just incredible!!! Love you!!! ❤

      2. I know. I spent a LONG time on my stomach just looking, looking, so taken away by how strong and resilient these plants are. And their beauty and perfection …. mind blowing! I hope you have a truly Blessed day, dear sister. I will be spending most of my day out in my gardens starting at garden number 9. Perhaps 9 and 10 will be finished today leaving me facing my huge Mother Rose Garden. I CAN DO THIS!!!! 🙂 ❤

  2. What a stunning set of photos in this post. The blue periwinkle and red peonie caught my eye. Two very different flowers, one looking calm and the other one looking fiery. Beautifully done with all the macros. It sounds like gardening is hard work, from watering land to making sure soil has enough nutrients for plants to bloom. Happy gardening, Amy. Take your time with it and most importantly have fun. I know you will put in a lot of love into it, and that is something we can all learn 🙂

    1. Yes, Mabel, there is a lot to gardening yet though I started out “grumbling” that again I face a monumental task, now I am finally in the right frame of mind and really enjoying having my hands in the dirt. I am being so careful trying to not even disturb the earthworms, so far from easy to do. Just being present in the NOW smelling the earth, asking each plant what to do, carefully arranging the mulch, properly fertilizing, all bringing me both weariness but such a sense of connection that I have truly missed over the winter months. It is time like these that I wish I could garden the year round. Anyway, bless you for this truly wonderful comment! I really hope you are having a great day!! ❤

  3. These are all beautiful Amy. I love the Rose Leaves. I love how you were able to get an distinct depth of field (I think that’s the right term) going on such a small object. The detail is stunning and the fading focus gives that picture a magical quality. Nicely done!

    1. Hi, Dan!!! Yes, I’m finally answering comments. (smile) I have an f/stop sweet spot that I particularly like to use with my macro work that really emphasizes depth of field. That’s not saying I use that f/stop exclusively but I do use it a lot. Thank you for appreciation the detail that I just as I laid on the ground, stared at in wonder. The flawless design I see is both mind pondering and mind blowing. SO happy you enjoyed these Treasures from my gardens!!! ❤

  4. Awwwwe…these are so cute! Yes, there are quite a few bloggers who are consumed with their gardens. Obviously, you are one of the first that springs to mind when I think of them. Looking good Amy! You’re hard work is paying off.

    1. My hard work had nothing to do with these babies, Marissa. It amazes me how plants that look dead come back to Life each and every year without me doing a thing to them. I finished number 9&10 gardens yesterday and started on number 11, my big Mother Rose Garden. It’s finally raining here so I must turn around and catch up inside my house the things that need addressing. AND I go for a walk at least once while it rains HURRAY! Hope you are having a great Sunday!!! ❤

    1. ❤ (((HUGS, Van))) ❤ Not all get it, my friend, because they do not garden. I just had to sit down last evening to get my head in flower land and away from all the exhausting work I've been doing. It was such a relief to grab my camera and just BE for a while. I will try to come on over to your place, but if I don't make it, you understand. Bless you! Have a great day! ❤

  5. These pictures are so Beautiful, Amy. I especially love the blue periwinkle. All your photos stand out for being so tiny. Love your Babies. Understand about having to cut back on blogging while you work in your garden. I got some green peppers at our local nursery and going to transplant them this weekend. Hope your birthday was a good one. Hugs and Love ❤

    1. Hi, Kathy!!! I was able to finish garden numbers 9&10 yesterday and actually started number 11, my Big Mother Rose Garden. I was determined to at least start so I got one rose bush completed and then called quits. Today it is raining so going like a tornado cleaning, answering comments, and now TA-DA …. going for a walk in the rain. Ahhhhh ….. I’ve earned that one!!! Hope you were able to get your peppers in the ground and yes my birthday was honestly probably my best one yet. I have an adventure coming next week to show you (I hope I can do it!) about going to the Eternal Flame. It is going to be a 3-part series, on the way there, at the Eternal Flame, and on the way back. My worst nightmare came true, dear friend. I slipped on slippery shale and down I went in the creek. I thought I had placed my foot (going down) on a relatively flat dry area but it turns out there was moss underneath. The good news is as I went down, I went with the fall and holding my camera high, not a drop of water on it. I on the other hand got soaked, very muddy and became quite chilled. It was only about 50 degrees out. All in all, I can say I went to the Eternal Flame but I don’t intend to return any time soon. It really was a rough trek. You’ll see what I am talking about when I show you my pictures. I can say now I know why people get killed here. Anyways … Hope your day has been a good one. I plan on getting my 2 cats who aren’t eating fed, me fed and then out the door I go for a walk in Como Park in the rain. Love to you!!! ❤

    1. Oh, Debi, I’m so glad you commented. I HOPE I did not confuse you with the directions I gave you for LR and PS because I use both so often I may have given you a combo of steps from both. If I did I really apologize because I know what it feels like to be overwhelmed.
I am SO happy you enjoyed these images! Just way cool in my opinion. As for me, I have no time to take it easy until my gardens are open. I’m on number 11 of 18. I’m definitely getting there! Whew! Much Love, Amy ❤
