Stillness

    1. Yes, is this not incredible, Carol? I managed to capture something I could not even see with my naked eye …. The sprouts. THAT is how tiny this is. When I opened this image in my editor my teeth fell out. I could NOT believe what I was able to do with my camera. Mother was certainly smiling as She knew I was intending to share this Miracle of the Master Creator with all here!!! I am in awe!!! ❤

    1. (smiling) Pretty awesome? Those words quietly came to me and the Truth I saw in that moment just about left me standing there in absolute wonder. My Intention each and every day is to come from a place of Stillness while I go about what I do. It is a feeling of “OM”, if you can relate to that. Peaceful contemplation doing ordinary things. Yes, when those words came, I said WOW in that “lightbulb moment”. I LOVE that you got it, Morgirl! I’m thrilled!!! 🙂 ❤

      1. I’ll be over to see it, Morgirl. Promise. Mornings I take care of my cats …. Unusually I begin blogging in afternoons. And today I am going for my walk so it will be late afternoon until I can start visiting. 🙂 But I will! I always do!!! 🙂 ❤

    1. Thank you, dear friend, for leaving this comment even though I had to rescue you from the SPAM folder. There, now you are all set at least for today. The probability of me actually getting this shot is like a zillion to one. I mean it. I still am fazed that I actually captured this Miracle of Mother. Makes me wonder what else is in store for me? 🙂 ❤

      1. Lots of really good stuff for both of us I think. I started walking again too and taking pictures so we should have a great spring and summer.

  1. I am trying to picture you on the chair, in the mud, wobbling, sinking, waiting for the wind to die down but still being ready to shoot. It’s a great photo, well worth the wait Amy.

    1. I still honestly don’t know how I did it, Dan, and that is the Truth. I am determined though that I will admit especially when I get something in my head that I want to do. This photograph blew me right out of the water when I saw it. The Wonder of Mother never ceases to boggle my Mind. I wish I had time lapse equipment to watch this bud grow. Now that would be something to see!! ❤

    The Nature in her Greatness
Now you could say that the cold, the wind, the chattering teeth really don’t matter. It’s a masterpiece.

    1. Oh, Monica! You SEE the Perfection in this image. I am just the vehicle in order for you to see it. I was stunned when I realized what I captured. Just stunned. And then so humbled as I knew Mother allowed this to come in as clearly as it did to show Her Sovereignty. Thank you for being here today to witness this Miracle that takes place every Spring. (((HUGS))) Amy ❤

      1. I always would prefer the Easy Street too. For some reasons I often find myself on these twisting mountain roads… lol
I am happy, my wow found such a wonderful home. Thank you, Amy 💖

    1. OH, Kathy, I still STILL don’t know how I got this shot, and that is no lie. I look at this image and am complete awe of not only of Mother but me as well. How She allowed me, helped me even, to get this shot. Think about the odds of getting this shot and you will begin to see the impossibility of it. My friend, what I have been showing lately leaves me stunned and what is coming as well. Which leaves me asking …. OH MY GOSH, what else will Mother allow me to photograph??? (((HUGS))) Amy ❤

    1. Thank you, Darrell!!! Yes it was quite the balancing act and I am SO relieved I did not fall in the blasted cold mud!! Speaking of cold, yep here too but I heard by Sunday it’s going to warm up. I hope so!! My poor flowers are crying for sunshine and warm!!! 🙂 ❤

    1. Hi, Honey! I use a Canon 50D which they no longer make. It’s an older model but I just LOVE it so much there is no thought whatsoever to get another one. I normally use only a UV Anti-glare filter unless I am doing long exposure photography with my waterfalls. No bells, or whistles. 🙂 I thank you so much for your compliment, Alifya! I’m so happy you are here to see the Wonders Mother allows me to capture. (((HUGS))) Amy ❤

      1. I’m a natural, Alifya. I have the “eye” as so do you, FYI. I’ve taught myself learning all I do know from experience and study. And one other thing. IF you are going to get a good DSLR camera, make sure you invest in good quality glass, the lenses. My macro, for example, is the top macro lens. It is an EF F/2.8 100mm macro lens. I don’t know if that information means anything to you but take my word for it, these lenses don’t come cheap BUT they are SO worth the money. The pictures as you see on my blog, are due to me buying good quality lenses. It’s a lifetime investment. ❤

      2. That is so great!! My husband actually gifted me a Nikon D5500 with 18-55 VR II Lens for Valentines day last month so I’m getting used to that at the moment but thanks for the info!! Love looking at how you capture pictures! 🙂

      3. Wow, how lucky you are! That is a really good camera! In order to get that camera to capture magic, the one behind the camera must learn how to create that magic and how to gain access into a World that many do not see. I believe you have what it takes, Alify. At least that is what I feel when I communicate with you. You are gentle, passionate, respectful, curious, humble, and above all, your Heart is in the right place. Practice. Use that camera. Shoot everything you can. I received some of the best advice from someone that I am passing on to you …. Fill the entire frame. When you look through the viewfinder, not just what you are shooting counts, but the background and everything in between. You want to create Harmony. You are already. And then there is the editing room ….. LOL I use PS and LR. 🙂 ❤

  4. Stunning shot, Amy. It sounded like the elements were against you, but you decided to put up with it all and get the shot. I love how you described the moment where you got that shot – brilliant recollection and I felt like I was standing in the cold with you cheering you on. Standing on that sinking chair sounded percarious, and so glad you didn’t fall off. But I suppose in the past you’ve had practise getting difficult shots 😀

There have been moments where I’ve had my teeth chattering as I’m taking photos in the evening. I know how that feels and it can be distracting. Take care ❤

    1. Beautiful comment, Mabel!!! Thrilled am I to think that my description was good enough for you to “see” it. It’s still so chilly here but I do hear it is supposed to warm up starting on Sunday. I just came in from outside to spray my baby Tulips with rabbit and deer repellent because something is eating them (DARN IT!). I couldn’t wait to get back inside the house. Brrrrrr ….. Thank you SO much for leaving such a wonderful comment as this one. May you have a wonderful weekend!!! ❤

  6. Hello beautiful friend. I saw this on Belinda’s blog and had to come over and say hi and I love all you do. I read something you wrote in passing the other day and it touched my heart. I thought of your mom instantly and that sweet prayer you prayed and posted for my daughter and I wanted to thank you for your kindness, your loving heart and depth of soul. My girl just got back from the Mayo and we are waiting to start treatments and I wanted you to know what a blessing you are to me and so many. Sending warms hugs and much love to you. Xoxo ❤️❤️

    1. Michelle, I’m not sure what is going on with your daughter but it must be serious for all she has been experiencing and now going to the Mayo for. I pray she gets well and comes back to full health. I also pray for you that you are able to bare this burden in witinessing your little girl being so ill. I KNOW what those emotions can do to you. Sending Much Love, Amy ❤

    1. Aw, thank you, Debra. There is so much on here that I don’t even know about any more. I do know which one you are speaking about, for I can clearly see it. My dream is to some day write a book and include what I have published here on WP. That takes time and a lot of sifting through what I have on here. For now, my priority is the care of my special needs cats. Browse all you want. I think I have it set up that posts past a certain point I closed the comments. I have a challenge as it is keeping up with current posts. 🙂 Have a great day today!!! ❤
