  1. Between a rock and hard place…or a soft place… Beautiful photos Amy. Love how you chose less obvious subjects and made them the focal point in the first. Then the blurred backgrounds in the other two…a bit of an avant garde feel.

    1. Thank you, Marissa. SO happy you enjoyed this today!!! Did you notice how I told you of all people on my last post with comments closed that I changed the colors on that image? Tee hee …. You ask the most incredible questions so I wanted to make sure you understood what I did. The blurred backgrounds on these images are created with the F/stop I used. As for the rock picture, my eye tends to catch the unusual. (smile) Hope you are having a great day!!! ❤

    1. Well, how glorious to see you, Yazmin. I must admit I scratched my head a bit to remember your name, but then it came to me. (smile) How are you? It’s been too long!! And I am SO happy you came here today to see this post. (((HUGS))) Amy ❤

  2. I am always amazed when grass or small plants take root in a crack in the sidewalk or in a stone wall, and then thrive. It’s like water rushing past a rock in the stream, time is on the water’s side. Beautiful photos, and thoughts Amy.

    1. Beautiful thoughts from you as well, Dan! Thank you for leaving them here!! I’m so happy you came by to enjoy another post from me. Hope your weekend was good … mine very busy. It’s turned really cold here (again) and in fact, snow flurries are seen today. Brrrr …. My poor flowers are getting hit hard. 😦 Had to really come up with creative ideas for this week’s posts, except for the morrow’s. 🙂 Keeping fingers crossed they turn out as I would like them to. LOL What am I talking about? Magic always seems to happen withe me, no matter the circumstances. ❤

    1. The words are getting stronger, and there is becoming a beautiful play with some of them, picking up on the different meanings of a word. I’m not doing this on purpose, Carol. It just is happening. I have another post that does the same thing. I just have to yet put it together. Thank YOU for the high praise!!! Wow! (((HUGS))) Amy ❤

    1. Thank you, Stacy!!! I consider this high praise coming from you! I have really been taking my time with my macro photography and making sure my hands and breath are as still as all humanly possible when I push that shutter button. 🙂 ❤

  3. Interestingly put Amy! Softness against softness is always downey fresh… These are baby roses? Already? We’ve still got snow here! Beautiful shots! I’ve saved everything I might want to blow up on a stick… I want to start making some hard copies to frame…

    1. This one is a “thinker”, Darrell. And yes my Roses are beginning to bud even being it still is so chilly. Hope you are having a good weekend …. I’m getting some well deserved rest before the warm weather is here and I plunge into opening my gardens which is a huge undertaking. ❤
