Genius

Too many fear
the Genius within
for by acknowledging It
clarification
would be known
the difference seen
with
Genius no longer hidden
thus making It
stand out loud and clear
from the rest
of the sheeple
of this world.

*I am doing my best to get back into my “normal” routine after being so ill with a very virulent flu.  Today I take the plunge and actually push myself to go for a walk, something I do not want to do, yet this is what I am being guided to do.  In order to gain my strength back, I must.  Yes, I will take it slow, I promise, and not walk 7 miles.  I couldn’t even if I wanted to.  Hopefully within today, if not tomorrow, we’ll be in touch.  Please enjoy this post today.*

    1. I will, Rita. I have to get this body moving again. I’ve been laying around since last Friday. This is when a hard manual switch is made to rise above “reality” in order to get back on track to wellness. And yes I am taking my camera today hopefully to get a few shots of the snow. 🙂

  1. So true! What we fear are not the dark places but the light and power within us. Because we know that once we recognize it we have to take responsibility.
Great photo again, sweet Amy 💖

    1. LOL Another “mom”. I will take it slow, Van, I promise. I am driving my car to the place in the park in the back of us where the roads are plowed. No walking through snow today. 🙂 The more I lay around the weaker I feel. Nope. Time for action. 💞🌹💞

  2. Beautiful and true post 😀 Wish you a joyful trip today, dear Amy. Take good care of yourself, otherwise you can not take good care of your beauties.
Take your time for recovering, even it can be difficult to be so patient.
Much love your way ❤ Irene

    1. I have no choice but to go slow, Irene. I cannot remember a time having a flu that bad. In fact, I don’t remember getting the flu at all! I am taking care of my cats this morning, and then prepare to go for a walk. It won’t be a long one, perhaps all of 1/2 hour. But the fresh air and the walk will both do me a world of good! Thank you for your concern, my friend!! ❤

    1. I have suddenly gained so many Mothers today! LOL Thank you, Carol! I promise I really am moving slow. I am majorly talking myself into doing this walk. I KNOW once I am actually doing it I will feel better for it. It is getting to do it that seems a bit tough. This is where “know thyself” comes in real handy! 🙂

    1. Thank you, Val. This is not going to be an adventure today. This is a mandatory step in getting my body back to being well again. The most difficult step is usually the first one. This one is no exception. I KNOW once that walk is in motion I will feel so much better. On the road to recovery sometimes takes a jump off the cliff ….. 🙂

    1. God bless you, Nico! As the morning progresses, I AM feeling stronger! This early morning it was still pretty iffy. I have made up my mind that yes today IS the day I AM going for that walk. It’s a beautiful sunny day and dressed warm, I will thank myself SO much for doing this for me. Thank you for your prayers!! ❤

  3. Oh no Amy! I remember we were just discussing us both being sick and I was so confident that it was nothing too bad. I did end up being kind of sick on Saturday but nothing too awful. Sorry we couldn’t say the same for you! Oh well, glad you’re feeling better now. Love the picture as always!

    1. (((HUGS))), Lisa. You are not alone! ❤ ❤ ❤ My main focus is to get out of here to go for that walk. Afterwards, I will be visiting you and my other friends. Hope all is well with you!

  4. The picture is beautiful and yellow represents sunshine and happiness… 🙂

However, flu affects badly. Most of the times, it weakens the body…so, take care and take rest to gain your strength back quickly… I know Mother Nature can heal your mind and body like no other thing… ❤

    1. Dear friend, yes, I was very ill. I now understand how someone can die from the flu. Never before have I had a flu like this and if it wasn’t for the fact I made sure I was hydrated when I had extremely high temps, I would be much more worse for wear today. Today’s walk did me a world of good, though I had to fight through major fear to go. Yes scared. Me. I did not want to overdo nor did I wish to do something too soon. Just getting my outer clothes on put sweat on my forehead. When I did get out with Mother, oh yes the relief, the JOY, the sheer wonder of breathing fresh air told me all the “fear” was just that and I really did do the right thing. I’m coming back as swiftly as my body will allow me. I’ve never been this ill, Maniparna, not since I had a NDE. Just know I am doing all I know how to in order to get well. ❤

      1. Oh..don’t worry, Amy, you’ll soo be hale and hearty. I’m really feeling bad about what you’ve passed through, but illness does strike us any time….without any warning. Keep your positivity shining 🙂 Mother Nature is always with you… wish you the speediest recovery, stay blessed… ❤

  5. Beutiful image Amy! I like the poem too… I think there’s genius born of curiosity and determination. I’d say you have both of those! Hope you get better soon. I, like you, feel like to lay down, is to give up. I admire your tenacity! Winter will be over soon! Can hardly wait! Love D. xOx
