      1. Thank you Amy both from my furry babies and myself 😀
I love to see your roses, so just post, when you feel for that. I took a photo of a rose in our new mutual garden here few days ago, as I will bring one of the days for you to see. Love to you and your beauties, Irene

      2. TIME is the enemy, Irene. *sighs* Lately I’ve been so busy behind the scenes encouraging those with hurting Hearts that I honestly don’t know where the time is going today. Whew!!!! I am SO happy for you in your new home!!! ❤

    1. Van, I thank you!! The words I am hearing combined with the images that are popping out at me, are making my messages very powerful lately. I am humbled that my abilities as an artist are being used in the manner they are. Love, Amy ❤

    1. Charlie, Raewyn has progressed tremendously in both talent with her camera and in the editing room. I know how hard she has worked and she so deserves others to view her work. I”m glad you discovered her too. One of her latest images of landscape that showed these amazing hills had me open mouthed in awe. ❤

    1. Yes, Marissa, these Roses are from my garden last summer. As for the quote, all of my quotes are mine, from me, as in I “hear” the words and I write them. If the source is anything but mine, I always say so. I’ve not used any source other then mine in years. Where have you been ? 🙂 Have you had your coffee yet? Are you awake yet? LOL 😉

  1. I love the photo you chose today Amy. This is an example of what I now think of as your signature “inner light” style with flowers. You capture them in a very unusual and very beautiful way. Very nicely done today!

    1. Thank you, Dan!! I honestly have had so many compliments lately my head is spinning and I really don’t know what to say anymore. Thank you just seems so mundane compared to the deep gratitude and awe I feel in my Heart. This Rose just begged me to capture Her at this angle and yes I caught something very unusual. I’m just so glad you enjoyed!!! I miss my Roses! OH Spring cannot get here fast enough even if that means I do some back breaking work in my gardens. 🙂 Love, Amy ❤

      1. I know what you mean. Although we are aware that this all happens naturally we are flabbergasted time and time again which is wonderful. That keeps us grateful and curious ☺💖

      2. Yes! I am SO grateful for the HONOR Spirit gives me to trust what I am given and to use it for GOOD. Life has me always curious. I was speaking with a chiropractor today about what my body does in certain circumstances saying outright I don’t understand totally the reasons why, and his answer was simply …. “Ah, how wonderful this happens so we keep trying to understand.” Smart man. 🙂

    1. Thank you, dear friend!! I could look at these Roses all day long too!!! Hope you have a wonderful weekend. I’m not sure if I will be posting tomorrow or not. This week has been very challenging for me. (((HUGS)) Amy ❤

    1. I’m not sure exactly what you mean, Mabel, by “fear always precedes love”. Are you aware that precedes means “before”, so what you are in reality saying that fear always comes before Love. I honestly don’t agree. Perhaps you were thinking of another word instead of precedes? Love, Amy ❤

      1. Had to ponder your comment for a while, Amy. Yes, I did mean precede. When we choose love, there is always an element of risk we choose to take – a risk of trusting someone. So, some of us might be fearful in taking the plunge in that sense…I know I am 🙂 But certainly, fear can come after love too ❤

      2. Mabel, stunned I am reading your words. Just know something happened recently that made me understand. I should be writing a post about what happened. To say the least, between battling a very bad flu and being hurt, it hasn’t been a very happy road lately.

    1. If my memory serves me right, no. Many of my Roses do not have a fragrance or if they do just a slight one. More and more Roses are being “bred” to eliminate the smell due to insects. Thank God this does not deter BEES. Bees LOVE my Roses and of course I cross garden like you and I have Lavender in the middle of a circle of Roses to beckon those BEES ….. Come in, and welcome! Bees go nutso over my French Lavender! I wait on them to harvest. 🙂

    1. Honestly don’t know what happened to this image, Michael, but it seemed to get funny in the transference between my phone and laptop. I only have “beauty face” set on 2 so the demarcations on my neck should not be this bad. And since my knowledge and time are limited, I did not spend hours in PS fixing my picture up. I’m thinking of just taking that beauty face off. It’s more of a hassle then not. 🙂 My Valantine’s Day truly awful as I was extremely ill. ❤

      1. I see you have two light sources(your eyes tell me that). One rt and the other left. So theoretically you could get a balanced soft light effect(if light sources were of equal strength). I think if you just brighten up the image …it could create a more ethereal look. Which of course you are!!!! Plus when you have a bottom brightness sources it reminds folks of halloween. Love and kindness, and warm hugs.

  2. Such a wonderful poem to return back to and see ~ “brings with a charm, delight of a dawn”
The beauty of your words are matched (once again) by your great macro-photography.
Cheers to a great week ahead Amy ~
