*covered in goosebumps* I almost did not post this today, Ashley, and in fact I am late posting at my usual time. Spirit and Heart moved me and I was guided to publish this. I am stunned. Now in tears. I am so humbled that I am used in this way. Bless you, my dear friend, on this very very special day. (((HUGS))) Amy<3
Most of the time, Ashley, I “hear” words. It’s like automatic writing. I am the vessel through which Spirit works. Again I am so humbled and just so grateful that I have been given these Gifts to use for GOOD. Same holds true for you. Have a very Blessed Day!! ❤ ❤ ❤
These words mean a lot to me, Kathy. Thank you for your constant support and sharing your Love with me. This image is from Blossom Falls. I have it as one of my tags but forgot to mention this in my post. (((HUGS))) Amy ❤
Amanda, my friend, I may be wise yet this does not exclude me from the “dramas” of being human. I do my best to stay Centered but I don’t always succeed. Love you! ❤
Yes. Why do you ask, Susan? I”ve been very busy and acclimating as well about what is happening with my Mom. I’ve had so many apps. this week that I have had hardly any time to spare for blogging. Yet here I am, still trying. 🙂
You got caught in a habit I brought back from Portugal. Only in English. It contains a greeting and maybe an invitation to share with one another as we have done here. ❤
Right on, Gary!!!! You got it!!! It still does not prevent us from missing someone we Love, though, when they eventually pass. It is part of the Human Journey. ❤
Hmmmmm ….. So you want my secrets, huh, Jodi? LOL Firstly, how I shot this makes all the difference, using an ND8 filter, ISO 100, F/40, long exposure. I shot underexposed to really target the LIGHT which was there to capture due to the weather conditions that day. I hit it just right. In the editing room, I adjusted: exposure, temperature to enhance the blue that was already there, I played with contrast, balanced highlights and shadows, sharpened, decreased noise, took out all spots from dirty sensor, defogged, used a curve tool to balance again lighting, … let me see what else …. and put my copyright on the image. Got it? I did not crop this image, just adjusted the pixels. How can I explain Magic? Because this is really what happens when I shoot waterfalls. I hope I helped. 🙂 ❤
Well – I asked for it, and I got it! LOL! Now I will have to read it about 10,000 more times to see if I can absorb. YIKES! I am so not technical in my photography skills, but I will re-read and study this and try to learn! 🙂 Thanks for sharing sweet amy! Beautiful magic! ❤
Jodi, I can only say this to you. Don’t let what I said overwhelm you. I have learned little by little and it took years to do. I’m still learning. If there is ONE thing you remember out of all I said is ….. LIGHT. That is THE most important aspect of your image that AND how you frame your image in your viewfinder. Practice on those two concepts …. Form will start to show itself, play of light and shadow will show themselves, you will begin to see patterns, and you will develop the OH YES GOT IT feeling when you see in your viewfinder THE view. Little baby steps. Re-read what I told you. Break it down. Heck write it down if you want to. But start with basics. I was SO overwhelmed in the beginning I almost quit. For real. (((HUGS))) Amy ❤
Even though I believe this, Gigi, it is still so hard to say goodbye to someone we Love. I’m getting better though at the grieving part. I LOVE this photograph and I am so happy you did too!!! ❤
Thank you, Amy, so much!!! I absolutely Love the way this image came out. So happy you came to see, for I know how much you enjoy my waterfalls. (smile) ❤
Wow, thank YOU, Eliza!!! I must admit my jaw dropped too when I saw what I had in my editing room. My “eye” orientated this image on the spot but I am limited to what I can see from my camera. I am SO happy you enjoyed this!!! ❤
…”truly there is no death, just transition”- you know, Amy, this is what one of our Hindu scriptures The Srimad Bhagavad Gita teaches… it’s amazing to see such a profound thought in your words….. 🙂 ❤
Maniparna, I have learned to trust what I “hear” and that those with a Loving Heart and open Mind are given all Wisdom in the appropriate time. Thank you for this confirmation that the Sacred Words I hear are Truth. I do not add to them. I am the vessel, my friend, for Truth to be heard. In fact, there are words within my comment that I “heard” that I will be using for another post. Do you hear them? May you have a truly Blessed Day. ❤ ❤ ❤
I know how to be quiet, friend, and how to listen. I have read many Scriptures, many books, and just one day I put them all down for Spirit wanted to teach me how to listen to Eternal Wisdom. I don’t question that “Voice” for I have really learned that “it’ speaks Truth. My Heart knows too. Everyone can do this, Maniparna. Everyone. 🙂
I love the photo Amy. It’s almost surreal looking. I love waterfalls. You are so right to combine those words with that photo, I start a lot of days near the CT River just to refresh that concept in my mind.
(((HUGS))), Dan. I “hear” you loud and clear. I often times must remind myself of this very same concept and yes it is when I am near water, just BEing. ❤
So very true Amy.. We step through one room into the next.. I am re reading at the moment Destiny of Souls by Michael Newton .. a wonderful enlightening read of Life between Worlds 🙂 and beyond.. 🙂
Sending Love your way Amy xxx
You are ever so welcome, Jude. This is truly what my Heart guides me to do and there is no fuller satisfaction then knowing I am doing exactly what my Life has prepared me to do. Love, Amy ❤
You are very much an artist. Not just with camera and words ~ but the way you make them flow together as you did above. Life is a constant flux of change, and you have even turned this thought into art 🙂
Beautiful shot 🙂 !!!
