    1. I know I am. Every time I go to this park, and see the wondrous sights, I feel such deep gratitude that I live so close to this Paradise on Earth. There are other parks in my area as well, but for now, I am totally in Love with this one! I honestly could take thousands of photographs and every single one of them would be different. The possibilities here are endless!!! I am SO glad you enjoyed this post!! This and more I must focus on in order to rise above the dark and the mundane of what has become our reality in this world. Have a great Sunday and thank you for commenting!!! Love, Amy ❤

    1. YellowCable, to cross paths with this couple was the most incredible experience I have had in a LONG time. The closer I approached the more I could FEEL their Love and JOY! They were surrounded by 4 professional photographers and the way she was dressed, I’d say they are a “somebody” yet, the sincerity, their evident LOVE just pouring forth, stunned me. I could NOT believe my phone started messing up (it was cold) and yes I did have several portrait shots that showed her gorgeous gown, but all of them were blurry. Grrrrrr …. I will never forget this day for as long as I live. Just picturing these two, and remembering the “feeling” of the experience, brings my spirit to such Bliss. I was literally blown away! And on top of that, one of the photographers showed me what he shot! I’m actually tearing up writing this. I don’t think I have ever seen a couple more in Love then these two. If anyone has a chance of making it, these two do!! (((HUGS))) Amy ❤

    1. My beautiful sister, it has been a rough go, and to have found such “sunshine” on this day of all days when I went walking, was a Gift straight from Heaven. To hear feedback such as yours, brings tears to my own eyes, giving me more determination to stay the course strong and true. BIG (((HUGS))) from me to you, Amy ❤ ❤ ❤

The obstacles are only there to assist us to dig deeper within ourselves to either strengthen us or to get rid of those things that are no longer necessary to hang on to. Yes we have come too far to turn back and IMO there is no turning back for me. Or for you! I Love you! (((HUGS))) Amy ❤ ❤ ❤

  2. You found the sun, outside and inside, my dear cousin of Upstate, Amy Rose.

This young couple found the perfect spot for a shoot, I think. Their radiance lighted up the surroundings, forever in their photo book, I think, and on your blog in that one fantastic image.

Your walk cleared your mind, obviously. It gave me a great start to my Sunday as well. ❤

    1. Cuz, that young couple lit up the forest as I could actually feel their LOVE radiate out, blasting all chill and gloom away. It was incredible! Every time I walk, Mother always gives me Gifts but that day, She outdid Herself. I return today and wonder … gee, what will I see today? The sun is out so picture taking should be a bit easier and a lot prettier as well. (smile) Thank you, cuz, for stopping by and commenting!!! (((HUGS))) Amy ❤

  3. What a lovely post, Amy! Your message at the end truly says it all. I think I myself was in need of hearing that today, so thank you so much for that. And I’m in love with that beautiful fur wrap the bride is wearing! She looks gorgeous. What a wonderful image!

    1. Many of us need an encouraging word, a smile, and someone just to reach out and touch in Love. For this is how I am being used by He who made me. As for this young woman’s wrap, it was so luxurious and gorgeous I knew it to be real. I sure hope so for her sake because it was cold! I will never forget what my eyes saw that day. The signs of sunshine God sent my way I cherish with all I am!!! BIG (((HUGS))) and thank you for commenting, Wendy! Love, Amy ❤

  4. Ah, Amy, what a beautiful post and such gorgeous pictures. You took the first one from the top of the toboggan slide, right?, near the big swings and the casino? I remember that view.

And what luck to be there when the bride and groom were. I hope they always look that happy, and somehow I suspect they will – they just seem to be right for each other.

    See you soon, my friend.

And that couple when I saw them … my friend, I have not ever been blasted by such pure Love. That young man acted as though his wife was the most precious catch of all time, and that young woman, not once lost that smile! Not once! What an honor to have been a part of such Bliss!!!
And yes, see you soon!!! I look forward to it!! 🙂 ❤

  6. I really enjoyed this post Amy. Even the tiniest of waterfalls seems a miracle to me, and you captured it so well. I also really like the photo of the road through the woods. Those photos always put my imagination to work. And young love? Who doesn’t like young love. Good advice to the young man. And, of course, lovin the selfie 😉

    1. Dan, again you are here to share with me a part of me and my Life. Thank you!! To find such Treasures on a day when I really had a rough morning, just goes to show you how Mother really hears me, and She is more then glad to get me to happy again! I was blown away by this couple for I felt such Love just radiating out in every direction! I even said more to this couple and I was so dazed, I more or less put my foot in my mouth. They in turn were so deep in their own world, and seemed to take no heed to my um duh remark. Yup, I’m kind of known especially when I am nervous (which I was) to say silly things. My tongue trips all over itself. Hehehehe And my brain seems to take a vacation. LOL I’m laughing as I write this. I hope you had a good day!!! I was out in my park again today. I cannot get enough of it!! And oh, the road photo you liked …. I walked that hill UP today. Holy mackerel! Now I know why she is called Mother. 😉 (((HUGS))) Amy ❤

I have several parks nearby, but this one has such a huge pull that I find myself returning again and again. Today in fact, I walked again, and did find, magic once more. Truly, this forest awaits my return just to show me more of Her Secrets. Love, Amy ❤

  7. Well I don’t want to gripe. Yes I do! A lot of photographers prefer dreary days because the even light is desireable, and it disposes of all the hard shadows for a cleaner looking result. She has horse teeth, but the flowers are nice! LOL! He just looks plain horny! I enjoyed ALL of the pictures! LOVE you got some more exercise! The picture of that girl in the red hoodie… Lots of sunshine there! Great job Amy! I’m still laughing about how you looked when you returned to the car, in the last set…

    1. An overcast day is vastly different from a dismal gray with clouds on the surface day. I like overcast days to photograph in. But not in heavy cloud days. I’ve been seeking after light lately and shadow to give my images more depth so that is my latest adventure. When I saw this couple all I felt and saw was LOVE and nothing else. I’m glad you enjoyed my images and got a kick out of my selfie. No matter how gloomy, I am determined to find sunshine as this post proves. Have a great day, Darrell!!! Love, Amy ❤

      1. To achieve depth, lower the contrast level of the picture. Then use a ‘curves’ adjustment layer, make an ‘S’ curve. Them flatten the image and save as jpg.

  13. Hi dear Amy, you don’t come up in mail or my reader lately, so I must catch you when I find you at another blog by clicking on you. That’s is how I got here today. I am so glad I did. These are so lovely, such beautiful images. The world is beautiful. The young couple starting out, it touched my heart. They look so happy, may they remain so. Life hits us hard at times and it is difficult to stay innocent and warm, especially when we feel so helpless to stop the damage that is happening. I thank you for this and all your lovely posts. Have the most beautiful day Amy!

    1. Holly, your posts don’t seem to be coming in my Reader either at least I don’t think so. Someone else just said today my posts are not being seen in her Reader. Darn it anyways!! WP strikes again!
Yes, this young couple I will NEVER forget. I don’t think I have seen or felt such a huge Love as I did that day! The adoration on that young man’s face, the huge smile that never left that young woman’s face, were truly the last things on this earth I thought I would ever see in that park, especially on such a heavy, dark and very cool day. They give me HOPE that marriage is not a sham. They give me HOPE that LOVE truly is alive in this world. I pray that young man remembers my words when the tough times come, for alas, they will. Those are the times either the marriage survives or dies, and I really really HOPE that this couple fight for their Love. I wish one of my photos of her full gown came out good. Honestly, she just looked like a fairy Princess and he Prince Charming. I’m tearing up as I write these words. I’ve have been in a really challenging phase of Life and every time it gets tough, I just close my eyes and picture these two and I again feel that Bliss. I wish I knew how to contact them because they just don’t know what a Gift they have given to me.
May your day be a good one, my friend. I am scrubbing and cleaning, taking a break right now so I can continue answering my comments. Then I have to edit some pics and put a post together for tomorrow. Good luck to me, I say! At least the morrow’s post is a short one. I’m truly surprised I did 2 long reads back to back with multiple photos. I look back and say I did? LOL Much Love your way and BIG (((HUGS))) Amy ❤

      1. it is rare that love and marriage last these days, I think vows meant a lot more back when, or maybe they stayed through thick and thin even when love had long since died. So depressing…sorry. I have a lot of work around here that need taking care of. I wish you wonderful holidays love!

Living in Mexico has its joy, especially with a rose garden blooming around a poinsettia tree, but a walk in the woods on a gray day is in itself a joyful memory. Feliz Navidad y un Feliz Año Nuevo
