Lighthouse

    1. LOL I wouldn’t go that far because the processing on this is not up to my qualifications but since I am still learning and playing, I showed this. It still is beautiful, I must admit. That lighthouse, any time I pass it, draws my eye. I’m not too sure of the actual history of this particualar lighthouse but I did put a link on this post for Como Park to give you a little idea about one of the parks I walk in. 🙂 ❤

    1. Great eye, Erika! The lighthouse just would not pop out so I just fiddled and faddled until I got it to pop out. It’s not quite perfectly the way I would have liked, but I am still learning so that is OK.

    1. I am really glad you feel this way, Ruth. One other person mentioned she too felt about what you did. This lighthouse really is special to me and I am really happy you came to see this. May you have a wonderful day today! Love, Amy ❤

    1. Actually it is a creek, John. There is a pond where egrets and herons and many geese gather which is quite a sight to see! There are also waterfalls as well. When the water levels are high, it is quite the sight to see. I’m glad you enjoyed this today!!! Love, Amy ❤

  1. I absolutely love lighthouses and angels.

They’ve been given to me throughout my life.

I am a lighthouse and angel through Christ Jesus. That’s the only way I can be.

Beautiful pic. Blessings my dear xo Emma

    1. Dearest Emma, we are all lighthouses if only we would embrace who we truly are. I love lighthouses as well as angels just like you. For some reason this light house is very special to me. Everytime I walk in this park I walk by it, touch it, look up at it, and always wonder about its history. I also know that we all are angels in human form, yet there too, will man ever embrace that truth?

    1. I agree with you that this lighthouse is unique because every time I pass it and every time I walk by it the energy I feel it’s something I am NOT able to explain. I just feel in my heart that there is a lot of history involved in this lighthouse that no one is really talking about. Over the door and one of the stones has been engraved a pentagram. I find that highly unusual especially in this area that is very conventional. I am so happy you enjoyed this post, my friend. Have a great evening! Much love, Amy

    1. Thank you, Dan!! Hoping your day is a good one!!! I could have said SO much on your post yesterday but I was having a very trying day and comments as well coming out out my ears. Just know how much I appreciated your post. Your photography is really getting good, and I mean that. I stayed a long time at your place looking at your images. I LOVED the waterfalls and I got a kick out of the separate doors for boys and girls. Now today is a bit calmer, thank goodness, and I did get an opportunity to write a little here about how much I enjoyed your post. (((HUGS))) Amy ❤

      1. I know that feeling Amy. Sometimes, the day just runs too long. Thank you for visiting and letting me know. I spent way more time looking at the lighthouse than describing my reaction. Sometimes, that’s just the way it is.

      2. That lighthouse is fascinating. It actually has a pentagram above the door. I don’t know if you saw that. I know this light house has a lot of history that no one is talking about. If I can possibly find any kind of history of this lighthouse I will. I always experience an incredible feeling whenever I am near it. It just uses mystery, majestic beauty, and for some reason I keep calm. This lighthouse was truly loved but I don’t know by whom.

    1. This lighthouse is very old, Svegliati. It was built I believe in the 1800’s, if I am not mistaken. I’ll have to take a closer look next time I walk near this lighthouse to see if there is any kind of date documented on it. It has quite the personality and I always get the oddest feelings when I am near it. Not bad, just as if this lighthouse is soaked in history that no one is telling. I hope you have a really good day!! Love, Amy ❤

    1. Aw, Scott! Thank you! I’m just so happy with what I am doing right now that to bring in the business aspect of what I do, I just don’t want right now. I’m a free bird without anyone telling me what I can and cannot do. And boy do I LOVE it. (smile) Besides, caring for all the special cats I do is rather, um, time consuming. I don’t know how I do all I do as it is. LOL (((HUGS))) Amy ❤

  2. Stunning photo! I’m not surprised you would be enticed by the image of a lighthouse. In some ways I see your blog as a lighthouse – a welcoming light in my reading day or night. Hugs and Smiles, Amy 🙂

  3. Oh what a cute, little, quaint, dinky toy, lighthouse! What’s it take ‘AA’s’? LOL! In all seriousness, it is kind of quiant… And look! It’s got a little deck to walk around! Sounds like you’re having a blast with your phone… And I know you’ll figure it out. Oh! Guess what? Bonehead gave me another present! It’s a way cool watch you can where on your belt loop! It has golf flags on the front, so I think it came from The Country Club… You just push in two little bars up top, and it flips open. Not digital either. Real numbers!

    1. Now, Darrell, I am about to impart to you a secret. You must and I mean you must not tell a soul. This picture is actually a picture of a postcard. Imagine that! That’s why it looks so tiny and quaint. I got it from a card! LOL 😉 Yes I am having a blast with my phone …. I actually did a panoraman tonight but I still have yet to see if it came out.
I don’t know who bonehead is. *scratches head and gets tangled in curls*
A watch? You say you got a watch with golf flags on the front? Way cool! And real numbers! Even cooler, Dude! Hmmmm …. a watch to wear on a belt loop. Can’t see the sense in that, but if that is what floats your boat, OK with me!
Still wowing over real numbers. Darn, imagine! No fake there!
See ya! Gotta go and clean out litter pans. Wanna help? Gee, what fun we could have scooping to see what surprises we can find. Not up to it? OK. I’ll have all the fun then, party pooper. See ya around!! Love you!! Amy ❤

    1. Oh wow!! Now that would be really cool!!! My Mom Loves jigsaw puzzles and in fact I just sent her a 1,000 piece of a mill, waterfalls, and gorgeous fall trees. A LOT of yellows and oranges …. LOL …. yet I couldn’t resist giving it to her. I know how she Loves a challenge especially now that she is training her brain to revive after her major surgeries. (((HUGS))) Amy ❤

      1. I didn’t get notice of this comment, Amy. I wondered why and came back to discover it. I’ve decided there is so much talent and inspiration on WP that I’d like to collect some of it on my blog. I reblog twice on Wednesday and then twice on Sunday. How does this Sunday sound?

This image was taken by the lovely Lady Pinkrose. Amy’s photos are ever vibrant and inspiring just as she. I met Amy surfing WP images for some inspiration. I found a beautiful yellow rose on her site and it inspired a children’s book. I hope you will visit Amy’s blog and enjoy her stunning images.
