    1. Thank you SO much!!! The sights I saw in this forest blew me away and I took SO many photos that I now have a storehouse of treasure to look at when the snow just gets to be too much. This Autumn was the most glorious I have ever seen!!! (((HUGS))) Amy ❤

      1. To be truthful with you, I am stunned I was able to do so, Marissa. Getting the “light meter” just right is pretty tricky when shooting extremes regarding light and shadow. It is a learning process and sometimes you still don’t get it right. 🙂

    1. Thank you, Amy!!! I was stunned when I saw this! It was so quiet in that forest and it was as though Angels were standing there with me. It was one of THOSE moments. Goosebumps. (((HUGS))) Amy ❤

    1. Thank you, Kathy! I am just now getting around to answering the comments that I still have yet to answer. I am just so glad you enjoyed this. I hope you have a great weekend. I am waiting for high winds to die down so I can get out for my walk. I tried the treadmill yesterday and I just was SOOOOO bored and could barely wait to get off that thing! I need fresh air and to be OUTSIDE. I must make a way for me to get outside almost every day regardless of weather. The thought of being cooped up inside this winter brings dread to the surface. And so I buy snowshoes!! 🙂 ❤ Love, Amy ❤

      1. Yes, Amy I really did enjoy it. We have also had very high winds the last couple of days. I too love being outside. TWINS ❤ Snowshoes are a good idea! Have a great weekend also, my dear friend!

    1. I find Peace and Solace as well, Ruth, with Mother which I find no where else. Sometimes when I walk I am transported to a place that is such Bliss, a place that is Perfect in every way. How I wish I could keep that feeling with me. I do try, I really do. Some days are easier then others. Have a wonderful weekend!!! Love, Amy ❤

  3. These were just the kind of shots I wanted to get this year, but couldn’t because while I was in the bathroom getting ready to go, they all had a fight, and nobody went :O(

So, in your inadvertant enthusiasm for photography, you have made my dreams come true with this photo right here! Now what’s everybody fussing about? It’s only a picture! THERE’S NOTHING TO SEE HERE! THERE’S NOTHING TO SEE HERE! LOL! Once again Amy, so it hits home… This shot took my breath away! And the few words you used to bring your illustration alive, just lit up my room like an extra sun!

  4. Such perfect timing for this post, Amy. We need all the light we can find in these dark days.
The campaign is over and I’m making quick visits to friends on WordPress.
It feels good to be back visiting and posting!
    Take care, Amy

    1. Hi, Laurie!! It is SO good to see you! I know what you mean about missing blogging! I was inconsistent for so long due to my Molly being so ill and then her death and on top of all that my mother being diagnosed with cancer and going through a radical major surgery, which she still is recovering from. I’m back to blogging when I can. I was pretty consistent all last week, but now that the weather has turned warmer again, I just want to enjoy the outdoors as much as I can before the snow gets here. Honestly, I have missed you! Welcome back!!! (((HUGS))) Amy ❤

    1. Darn drats darn drats!!! Darrell, why did you go and have to do this? Oh my dear dear friend, I no longer accept awards anymore because I don’t have the time to do them. I don’t want to hurt your feelings, no not at all, yet if I accept yours I would suddenly get a mountain of awards and would be buried alive. I will however put your link, your SPECIAL LOGO and who gave me this award on my Award Page on the menu at the top of Petals. I AM SOOOOOOO touched and SOOOOOOOO grateful that you chose me out of millions of people. And here I am having to turn you down. *sighs* I’m truly sorry, my friend. I will brand this LOGO on my Heart and know that you gave it to me as I go about my Life saying I am a SUPER HERO because Darrell says so! How’s that??? (((HUGS))) and Kisses, Amy ❤

      1. Oh that’s OK Amy! Really and truly OK! OK? You do understand though that I will have to choose another nominee, cuz if you turn it down, I may not qualify for mine. Thank you for being so sweet though! You’ve touched my heart… Don’t you know? You were the first one who noticed and supported me as only a good friend would! So you see? You really ARE my SUPER HERO! Kisses and Hugs: oXo

      2. Here you go, Darrell. I put your award and your LOGO on my awards page. The only thing is this … Don’t break your hand scrolling down ’cause it is a LONG ways down after many other awards. Good luck!!! And again, I really really thank you!!! Love you!! Amy ❤
