    1. Yes, Rajiv, I totally agree with you. As I stood in front of this glorious display that Mother presented to me, I stood as if transfixed as I was transported into another Realm. I am honored you shared this experience with me today. Thank you. Love, Amy ❤

    1. Thank you, Jodi!!! I am really happy you stopped by to enjoy my Gift to you today. No one truly likes adversity, yet, … what can be discovered and created has endless possibilities. (((HUGS))) Amy ❤

  1. Beautiful colors. Just wondering if the original photo displayed the magical lighting of the far tree line as a different colored glow. Thoughtful words and so true.

    1. Oh wow, Alexander! Thank you SO much! I deliberately edited this picture so that it does look like a painting. Bless you for confirming that I did a good job of what I intended to do!!! And I am really glad you stopped by to enjoy this post! Love, Amy ❤

      1. I am watching all your pictures and posts, and enjoy them. Some of the posts do not give the balance and peace but that is the life. All of us experience good and bad events. What can we do?
Anyway, your blog mostly is optimistic and pictures are beautiful.

    1. Thank you, Andy!!! Another surprise Gift from Mother I did not expect. Now if I had decided to stay home due to the clouds, I would never have seen this. (((HUGS))) Amy ❤

    1. Yes, Scott, I did at that. This was a Gift, one I did not even see coming! I just couldn’t NOT stop to get this one. The drama itself speaks volumes. To me this image invokes healing. Bless you for your compliment!!! Love, Amy ❤

  2. I love the way you captured the darkness and light on this one. It’s just seeped in color…that’s kind of the only way I can describe it. Glad you stayed safe in your adventure. It was certainly worth it. Funny how the photographer’s mind works…always seeking that perfect shot.

    1. Marissa, it is hard to explain … my eye just sees things. I don’t even consciously look (or at least most of the time). Things just pull my eyes and I must must must take a shot or two. SO glad you enjoyed this one. I’ve still got a ways to go in the editing room but you all are seeing me progress. Hope you had a good day!! Love, Amy ❤

      1. Wow, thank YOU, Marissa!!! I am seriously amazed how fast I learn and what I apply. Now I know why I spent years drawing free hand these huge abstract paintings. They developed my “artist eye” to really see. Isn’t this journey exciting? It is for me!!! Love, Amy ❤

      2. Oh no, I can see that now. Please know I would never do that intentionally and was even thinking of substituting a husband-wife situation but this one seemed to work out better. Anyway, so much for my sick sense of humor and sincere wishes that your mother will recover.

      3. Marissa, I in no a way expect anyone to tiptoe around me. Your life is yours … I know you would never do anything intentional to hurt me. Peace, friend

    1. Friend, I honestly cannot handle a story like this right now, not with what is going on with my mother. I MUST stay up and positive right now. Too many raw emotions I am personally dealing with. I hope you understand. Love, Amy ❤

      2. Amy, do not feel bad please. You did not know. I was against this surgery (turned into two) knowing what I do as a nurse. My mother is desperately trying to gain more time. ❤

    1. Oh, Dan! Thank you! I really had fun with this from the actual shooting to the editing. And the sky is the real deal. I still don’t know how to change skies. LOL Sometimes ignorance is bliss. (((HUGS))) Amy ❤

    1. Oh, cuz! It truly was luck. It is one of those shots you just stumbled upon. That seems to happen to me a lot. I will be over to say yahoo to you in a bit. .. I am right now building a bookcase. For real. A cheapy, granted, but nonetheless, I still have blisters. LOL

  3. Lovely words as usual, Amy. And wow, what a photo. I literally felt like I was right beside you as you hustled to take a few shots. Sunsets can be so beautiful but yet so fleeting. One second the sky can be full of colour and the next the opposite. You did very well there. I thought this photo looked like a magical park of some sort 🙂 ❤

Adversity. we may dislike it, kick and scream at it; but yet, it often causes us to end up in places we never dreamed of going. great post 🙂 cheers, Debi
