    1. God knows, I am trying Dan. I really slunk into a depressed state over the weekend knowing my flowers and the warmth I Love are slowly receding. Today I am determined to smile, darn it!, and find beauty in this Season to celebrate. Now I take a deep breath and plunge into the glorious Season of Autumn!!! Love, Amy ❤

      2. Bless you for understanding. I have tears in my eyes. I literally had to make a super human effort today to switch mental gears, say NO to the sadness, and instead begin looking for the Beauty that Autumn holds. My flowers and GREEN mean so much to me and are my true element, that and water. To live in a climate where winters are very cold and brutal, is so very difficult. But even with that I have decided to buy snow shoes this year and really get out to photograph and celebrate the season of Winter. Thank you from the bottom of my Heart for connecting with me today.   12. Oh yes, you will have some nice new themes in the coming seasons Amy…and let’s hope your winter won’t be as brutal as last years. You really captured those nice golden fall tones in this one. We rarely get them here in L.A.

    1. Yes, here too. And smells it as well. I have the windows open and if there is one thing I really Love about Autumn it is that special Fall smell. Nothing better then to walk in woods with leaves on the ground and taking huge gulps of the scented air. I go for a walk today. And I plan on going to a park that is heavily forested to get my drink in of Fall Bliss. (((HUGS))) Amy ❤

  16. Such a beautiful picture and words, Amy. We have a few trees that are starting to turn here but just starting. Think it will be a few more weeks for the Fall Glory, here. Unsure since every season here is our 1st. Feels like Fall here and love having the windows open a little. Have a good day on your walk. HUGS ❤

    1. It is going to be a few more weeks here too, Kathy, I THINK. Some trees’ leaves are falling so fast that most of them are on the ground right now. Other trees have not begun to turn yet.       5. Yes, indeed, still works in progress. Laptop likes some more but phone is a little less adaptable. maybe when I finally figure it out, I won’t blow this silly thing up like the last ones. I thought it was just Samsung, but maybe it’s Win10 OS instead that’s at fault. It didn’t like me turning off all the data collection and location tracking monitors, but then again I like my privacy and secrecy more. And I own the thing they don’t. haaaaaaaaaa silly Wabbits and Bots.

      6. We do the same, George …. we like our privacy. And besides any promotional email I usually throw out with one or two exceptions. Even with our phones we try to avoid sales. Yesterday hubby became so irritated by a call that got through he told them to F off. I’m laughing as I write this. Annoying is what they are.
        And yes I really LIKE your new faces. Keep on keeping on!!! I’m scrubbing today A LOT but I just went outside and OH OH OH I AM going for a walk. It is just TOO beautiful not to. I don’t care a fig if I do feel tired …. I’m going!
        Hubby got a wake up call regarding blood tests. I call it a Blessing. He is the type he needs something over his head to keep him in line. Well, he’s got it now. And I am doing handstands and cartwheels thanking God for this situation. I’ve tried all I know to get him to live healthy. Well, gee, his unhealthy habits have now caught up to him. This should prove to be interesting …
        And as for me I cracked my head so hard yesterday on a part of our stairs (think hard oak) I blacked out for a few seconds. Now I have a huge goose egg on my forehead. LOL As for Balance, one of my cats decided to nest on my pillow the other night and caught my left eyelid in one of his nails. Talk about jumping to the ceiling. So now I have a puffy turning black and blue left eye and a goose egg on my right forehead that is also beginning to turn lovely colors. Yep, the key is Balance. I got it. LOL 😉 Too funny! If I did NOT have my sense of humor, I seriously would be upset. Why bother? What’s a bump here or there? Tee hee …… ❤

      7. If anyone asks about your bumps and bruises, just say “You should have seen how his girlfriend looks.” That stops everything, quickly. I have a head of concrete and even if it doesn’t hurt, it does indeed bruise and swell up. then again, not many worry about my looks as long as I smile and don’t give them the “evil eye” ᕙ(💓▿💓)ᕗ
        Balance is key, I think it’s Eplus or is that Gminus, ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
        My hummers are keeping me busy, either they are getting ready to leave or they’re enjoying making me refill the feeders and buzzing our Clan. I need to design micro mini Pampers or Depends I think. While their poops are tiny, when there’s 10-12 buzzing, my nose and ears catch their 👀 ♥ * ͜ * ♥ 👀 exhaust. Thankfully I keep my tongue in my own cheek when outside.

      9. LOL@ your first comment about the GF. I’ll have to remember that. I normally don’t get beat up like I have in the past 3 days …. oh I forgot to tell you another cat after the eye incident, the following morning bit my right ear. Now, George, these things just do not happen. I’m like what the **** seriously asking what was in the food the previous evening. Hmmmmm …..
        Not sure about the reference to Eplus or Gminus …. you went over my head there. My guess to Gminus is Gemini.
        As for your hummers I have never seen their poop. Never. The thought of you with hummer poop on your face cracks me up. And to think about how tiny that Depend would have to be for a hummer …. micro is not the word! LOL Do hummers really go right up to you? THAT is amazing!
        The hummers are gone here but not without drama. A hummer flew into our garage last weekend and because he was so terrified could not find his way out of our huge 2.5 car garage opening. So I put my think tank on. I came up with the idea of taping a net we use to catch frogs with to the end of broom handle in order to scoop that little bird into the net and letting him go outside. That is exactly what happened. Hubs had his camera out in the garage so pics were taken by him but being he only has a kit lens and he didn’t get a good angle means the pics he has are not all that great. I tried to edit the best one but it still is not all that great. It would have made for a really good story on Petals. OH well. I refuse to buy hubs a good lens for the camera I bought him because as with anything he does not use it.
        Anyways …. thoughts of you with the hummer’s exhaust has got a really huge smile on my face. Tee hee …… MUAH!

      10. Before reading any further, no drinking or eating from this point.

        Not being a music expert, I was trying to make a joke with the music scales instead of high or lows, I’m a mute, I used plus and minuses like a schoolteacher. Sometimes my weird thought process doesn’t come across as I thought it would. Hold on I will be sharing some German humore my Son sent me. If I could laugh out loud, the Clan would be checking to see WTH was going on? 👀 ♥ * ͜ * ♥ 👀 ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) thankfully hummers only eat bugs and nectar and what we put in feeders and don’t get constipated. whewwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

      13. Ironically, so many are open to what I have to say at Petals and beyond. Yet my own spouse? If he thinks for one moment I will take care of him IF he becomes very ill due to his self destructive ways, he really has another thing coming. If that sounds terrible, it’s not. Really. I’ve watched him be empty of life and do everything he could to hurt himself. Nope. Not going there.

      15. Bless you for listening to me, George. The buck really stops here. I told you privately how I really felt, and just because the circumstances of my life do not correlate to my desires yet, that does not mean I am willing to play nurse maid to a man who has hurt himself deliberately. I used to excuse his behavior due to “Vietnam” but now? No. I’ve come too far in my own journey as a person to be dragged into sickness. I think that knock on my head yesterday proved to me how tough I really am and how serious I am about standing up for my own rights.
        Just about finishing up. I will reply to your other comment about the hummers …. the vision of you that you painted had me laughing out loud!!! Still am which is helping me do my very last effort of this day. Man, my feet are aching!!! And despite that, I even went for a walk. Wait to you see some fo the shots I got. OH WOWOW!!! Like a kid today … I have one post coming that describes how sad and broken I felt cause summer is passing by but today, I have gotten into the spirit of LOVING Autumn!!! YAY!!!!! Geesh!       16. You’re right, Enabler is not the position to have, it helps no one, only makes it worse. I am glad my Kiddies’ post brought a smile and laugh. Summer isn’t gone here yet, thankfully, Fall just makes us change clothes, longer shorts 👀 ♥ * ͜ * ♥ 👀 Maybe it’s a good thing that I’m forced to wear more clothes, cuts down on the looks when I go to town.       17. Summer is still hanging on here as well, George. I have an appt. to go to in a few hours but first another walk with my c camera. And stop already about how you look. Geesh! I’m sure BB doesn’t mind at all! 😉 ❤ And as for me I'm still in shorts despite the fact my legs no longer look as they once did. If you don't like yourself, who will? Just askin' …… 😉

      18. She’s not after my looks, I think I caught her glancing over my life insurance policy, though……………..)))))))))))))) Hope you had a good walk. She’s a keeper, but not sure she wants to be kept yet, so like the hummers, I’ll enjoy as long as she chooses to be around us.

    1. I’m determined to Love Autumn AND Winter this year, YC. My favorite season of all is Spring. Yet, this year I am going to fall in Love with Seasons that I prefer not be present in my Life. That said, I WILL LOVE ALL SEASONS. 🙂 ❤
