      1. As with you, Irene. Just know I’ve had some pretty busy days (today being one of them) and I have not been able to get to my emails. ALL is OK. I will write you when I can, I promise to tell you all about it. I’m really focused on getting to photo shoots now while the weather is still nice, getting to appointments that had previously been canceled, AND while everyone is stable here, getting caught up. I Love you! xoxox Amy

  1. Thanks for taking us along Amy. As you may know from my posts, I often start the day in a park by a river. There is something special about spaces like this, and you are so right about having it sort of reset you mind. Beautiful photos of a lovely spot.

    1. You are welcome, Dan, and in return I do thank you for coming along with me. The combination of water and green has such a huge pull on me. It’s been suggested I go to another park which is “safer” but there is no water there and the scenery is blah, just a walking path. No thank you. I return to this park again and again to refuel and yes I have attached to my person items that would assist me to protect myself. That and I do have some Martial Arts belts. (smile) Really. Anyways as I ramble on … I am really happy you enjoyed this post. These pictures are really special to me. I worked darn hard on them as well to make them look as close as possible as if they had been taken by my Canon. I took these images with my Samsung Galaxy 2 camera. I don’t know if you saw that way down at the bottom of the post. Hope your day was a good one!!! Love, Amy ❤

  2. What a terrific walk. Definitely made me see things I would never have seen before…the leaves on the bottom of the trees, hidden stairways, the fruit on the trees…it all looks so much different through your eyes.

    1. Marissa, next time you take a walk in Nature, just begin to look at things you normally would not. Just LOOK AROUND and start seeing patterns and something that tugs at you making you curious. Even as a child I saw Beauty wherever I went. I had a very difficult childhood and for most of the time very withdrawn, yet in the quiet, I observed and my eyes began to see amazing things. They still do today!!! 🙂 So glad you enjoyed this!! Love, Amy ❤

      1. Often a lot of beauty comes out of what is sad and tragic. I know you had some hard times and I am so sorry, but also so glad that this gift came out of it…and it’s a gift you’re able to share.

      2. Marissa, this year has been extremely challenging yet my work has soared. I have poured myself into my art, allowing the pain of my Heart to abate. I have seen some of my very best work rise from out of the ashes of my Life. ❤

  4. Beautiful shots. By the way I didn’t forget about you. During the equestrian event I was shooting, I promised a good manure shot for you (if you remember) As soon as I find it among the other 8,000 photos I took, I’ll post it for you. 🙂

    1. LOL I was in a local park close by where I live, my friend, located in New York State. With some of the pictures, even my own husband would not have known where I was. I tend to find the unique, those things most people overlook, and when they see what I shot, say, “Wow! You took those at such and such? I never saw that!” Hehehehehe I’m really glad you enjoyed your walk. This really is a special place for me. And it literally is behind our property so I actually walk to it right from our home. 🙂 Lucky me!!! Love, Amy ❤

      2. Bless you, for encouraging me, Ngobesing. There are days like today I get so overwhelmed at the number of comments that are still unanswered. It takes a lot of commitment to do what I am, and in so doing, praying that I am making a difference in this materialistic world we live in. Again, BLESS you for encouraging me to continue. Love, Amy ❤

    1. LOL Alexander, I KNEW someone would comment on that photo. I must tell you the truth, that photo blew me away because of anything I have edited, She required the smallest amount of adjustments. The angle, the lighting, the shot itself, just perfect. In fact, I edited Her and did NOT like what I did, and started all over. This flower demanded to be seen as is, and let me tell you, She really is being seen as is. She is a stunner out in my front garden. Thank YOU for sneaking in. I am just so tickled that you saw what I did as well. Bless you, Alexander! Your words mean the world to me. Love, Amy ❤

  5. Trying to show off again eh? Well it worked! These are pretty good! Nature is wonderful ’til a bear gnaws your ear off… I have some CRAP on my site opposite to your magnificence which is endless. Mine are pictures of inside my house, cuz normally, I live outside, diguised as a street bum: really though, I have a degree in garbage picking! You didn’t just capture pictures Amy! As always, you captured me! Magnificent :O)

    1. I am so glad you enjoyed this walk with me, Darrell. I live outside too! What a coincidence! I have proof right here in these pics. This is my true home. I only use my house to sleep due to my comfortable bed that has me spoiled. 🙂

      1. Good thing we see eye to eye on this. Did you know you can’t pee in public, but you can poo because it’s fertalizer… I’m not so sure if the same law applies in The States though.

Instead of complaining and insist you bag it, they should be asking if your dog could please poop on their lawn! It’s a shame they won’t at least let us pee on our doorknobs so we can at least mark our territory…

I don’t even go in for lunch sometimes, and just eat the leaves off the trees :O)
