    1. Thank you!!! If people only knew what I go through sometimes all to just get the shot I want. Hehehehehe Just seeing a beautiful image doesn’t mean that the image does not have story behind it. This story was just too funny NOT to tell. So glad you enjoy!!!!! 🙂 Have a great Sunday!! Love, Amy ❤

    1. Not much stops me, Tori. My determination to beat the odds when I see the Beauty I want to capture, is always there. I don’t understand how those boys could NOT see me with a BRIGHT glow in the dark shirt on. That remains a mystery to me. LOL Have a great day!!! Love, Amy ❤

    1. LOL You could say is was an adventure, Erika!!! I’m SO glad I have a good sense of humor to see how funny this was. It feels SO good to laugh!!!! The relief is incredible! I’ve been fighting for one of my cat’s to keep him alive. I’ve done it! I diagnosed him properly, gave him the correct herbs, and with over 2 months of feeding him to keep him alive, now am seeing that I was right in all I did, and that he is going to be OK. He is eating now on his own!!!! I can breathe again! OH FOR THE JOY!!!!! Happy Sunday, my friend! Love, Amy ❤

  1. Thanks Amy. I am enjoying some wonderful pictures and a couple of good laughs (at your expense, sorry) to start an otherwise dreary day. Can’t balm the bunny, but the guy who didn’t warn and didn’t apologize must have been raised by wolves.

    1. Dan, in all seriousness, some of these young people today shock me with their arrogance and disrespect. And what I didn’t mention I was not even near where the Frisbee is thrown for points to be made. How both times the Frisbee managed to be anywhere near me is really hard to believe. I was wearing the brightest orange shirt I have and not be seen in that, is a HUH? to me. I’m so glad you laughed because I really am laughing now. At the time, no. I’ve learned (am learning) how to laugh at Life. It is a deary chilly day here yet I refuse to be down. I’m even going for a walk later on despite the chill and dreariness. (((HUGS))) Amy ❤

  2. You had some of a photo day Amy 😉 No matter what you needed to go through, all your photos went out to be amazing and beautiful. I really hope that you found your needed peace anyway and great to be able to laugh after all this ❤

    1. Oh you!! You of all people would say something like this! LOL Tom, admittedly that pile of rabbit poop was cute, with all those little balls piled on each other. It must have been a communal dumping ground. Hehehehehehe SO glad you laughed. Thank YOU for the confirmation that writing this story I succeeded in making you laugh. Telling a funny story and writing a funny story are two diffferent ball games totally. YES!!! I succeeded! Now it is I who has the huge grin on my face!!!! Thank YOU again! (((HUGS))) Amy ❤

      1. LOL, Keep writing, it was soo good. I think what makes it particularly fun is I can totally relate. Which is why my exploration of nature photography was short lived. I admire your perseverance and patience.
So next time you’re out in the field and come across a similar situation, just think, would Tom like this? 😀

      2. OK, Tom, will do! Parks I am finding out can be hazardous! LOL I’m going to have to come up with a different plan in going to someplace where there are not a whole lot of people. AND this expereince taught me to scan the ground before I step even while I ooohing and ahhing at what I see with visions dancing in my head as to how I will capture what I am seeing. GRIN! There is a lot that many people don’t know what photographers do go through (sometimes) just to get the perfect shot. Hehehehehehe ❤

      3. At times when I am over in the barn next door to us to feed the cats and sometimes to water the horse, I do walk in horse poop. I’m used to it. 🙂 Dog poop though is another matter totally. Hehehehehe Seriously, IF you have a dog, please bag the goodies so that the person coming along after you, doesn’t step in dog poop. 😉

      4. Agreed. Besides I use it for my gardens and many times my hands end up in it! LOL I have very worn leather gloves that I use for gardening and some fingers have holes in them at the tips. In using a shovel to scoop up horse balls, some fall off the shovel so I just bend over and shove them back on the shovel with my hands, so as NOT to miss any of the golden nuggets. Tee hee…

  3. I’ve learned that when things are shit like that, I just need to stop and deal with it so it doesn’t keep filling my day. Sorry you had a hard day. You did get some pretty shots out of it though. Hugs, katelon

    1. OK, so tell me, Katelon, how should I have dealt with dog poop and young men who were ignorant of the fact I was photographing? I DID deal with my stuff by using my camera as my therapy. Stuff really does happen, no matter how careful you are, and it is all in the way you react to any given situation is what counts. This story is FUNNY. I am still laughing at the plight I found myself in that day. I’m sad you missed out in a good laugh. Love, Amy ❤

      1. Sorry you reacted so defensively to my comment Amy. I did see the humour. I was just commenting from my own experience that i am learning to do techniques to shift myself before ever leaving the house or I do, like you did, continue to draw to me continued challenging experiences. I only wish you the best but won’t comment again.

    2. The laughter I am having now is how I am dealing with my Life, Katelon. I’ve been struggling to save one of my cat’s lives for over 2 months now, and just as of yesterday, I saw he is going to make it. The RELIEF in laughter is my release. The STRESS of what has been transpiring almost took me down. And now to see he really is eating and gaining weight, all I can do is throw my hands up and woop and laugh with glee! ❤

  4. Smiling here at the adventure you had while you were out. Great shots in spite of the poop. Glad that you kept going in spite of the obstacles like the frisbee and the young man. Not laughing at you but with you. HUGS ❤

    1. No, I am really HAPPY you laughed, Kathy, because that was my intention. I really am learning how to put a funny spin on Life even when you step in sh*t. LOL I thought the shots were worth my “troubles” even if the lighting was not exactly as I would have liked. I did my best with editing to bring out exactly what I saw. Hope your day is going well today!!! (((HUGS))) Amy ❤

    1. You are right, Amy. All viewers see is a beautiful photograph. Sometimes what the photographer goes through to get that image is short of impossible. At the time it really wasn’t funny, but now it is. I mean really, what are the ODDS of all that happening in ONE day to me? LOL Have a great day, my friend! Love, Amy ❤

    1. Afterwards I saw the humor in it, Gigi, and I worked on this story for 3 days to make it as funny as possible. And yes my mouth had a serious rendevous with 4-letter words that evening. Hehehehehe Thank you for the compliment about my shots. They really were worth all the “trouble” that seemed aimed at me. LOL Have a great day today! Love, Amy ❤

  7. I really liked how even though it was not a good day for you, Amy, y I u knew how to not only lift your spirits, you lifted ours. First of all, can not believe the orange vest doesn’t help protect you from Frisbee throwers! Secondly, I was sad for the bad day you had but blessed by the beauty in lush green nature photos. Last, sorry about figurative and literal “poop.” xo ♡

    1. Robin, learning how to laugh at what Life “throws” at us, is a way of staying detached from the stress introduced to us on some days. Being a photographer, carrying large, clumsy and heavy equipment, all the time concentrating on the landscape and really not the ground, can have some serious consequences. Now I will have to practice on keeping one eye on the ground as I gaze around me. LOL Also, some of the attitudes of some of our youth, shocks me. Just because I am in my “prime” of my Life, no longer young, I am to be ignored or rejected? Um no not by my standards, yet isn’t that the exact attitude of this country especially, in general, towards those of us over 50? Now, I have met some awesome young people who when they see me, smile and are very courteous. Others really scare me in their cold and selfish ways. But anyways ….
Thank you for your comment for it put a smile on my face! This park that I have been going to which is just about right in my own backyard, has more treasure then I knew. And I am very grateful that I am finding this treasure in a time of my Life when I really am not able to go far from home for long periods of time.
May you have a really great day, my friend!!! Love, Amy ❤

I was wondering how beautifully you turned every bit of events to really memorable experiences… Studied a lot from ur perspectives…stay energetic and happy always… Really enjoyed that photos and events …thank you very much for a wonderful visual treat…I was quite unaware of the risky journeys of a photographer so far …u made me realize all the pain and laughter behind every frames ❤

    1. Oh, Sneha, if you only knew what I go through sometimes on a photo shoot. LOL I am thinking of writing about those experiences more often, always with a laugh of course. The lesson here for all to see is IF I had not persevered, I would have missed out on some gorgeous images to show you. Regardless of how it really was not funny at the time, in hindsight it was AND every inconvenience was worth it. Bless you for your comment, my friend. It made the end of my day that much brighter!!! 1. Ah, but are not the True Life Stories that are always the best? At the time this really was not funny but in looking back I began to roar. I mean, the ODDS of all this happening within one hour, come on, did I win the lottery or something here? Oh and what I didn’t say, I was not even standing close to where these fellas were supposed to be throwing their Frisbee at to get points. AND I had glow in the dark orange on. You tell me! Perhaps the orange Frisbees developed a life of their own and so decided to missile towards me. Hehehehhehehe Really??? LOL ❤

  10. Oh haha Amy, what a day. You did get some great photos for all that, so well done. Rabbit poop is one thing, but dog poop is unforgivable. Dog owners are mainly responsible people here, but just occasionally we do find that there are those who’ve not picked up. So lucky that your camera equipment was not covered in it.

    1. Chris, my Heart literally was in my throat and my stomach down around my ankles. Not one charitable thought was in my head at the time regarding the person who did not bag the goodies. How inconsiderate!! But, I was saved somehow and not anything on any of my equipment. Grateful? Oh man yes! Dog poop stinks! Thank goodness I got my sneaker clean!!! LOL ❤
