A Challenge in Life presents itself
when someone we Love goes on,
leaving us in this realm of existence.
The challenge is,
is not to live from the perspective of the past,
but to live from the perspective of the present,
bringing with us that which means so much to us
to integrate into our Present Moment.

  4. An optimistic view of a sad subject. Love the way you captured these gorgeous colors and the way the blue blurs into the green. I assume this is from your garden as well?? What a treat to have so much beauty at your disposal!!

    1. Actually, Marissa, this image is from the Botanical Gardens I visited on Mother’s Day. Yes I have these exact same flowers in one of my gardens, but the number of plants I have do not make for this glorious field of blue flowers like this image does. I am so happy you enjoyed this. I really do try in all of Life to stay on the Optimistic side of the street. (smile) Love, Amy ❤

      1. Wow! You really are the flower lady!! You surround yourself. Well, all the better to be surrounded by so much beauty. I used to visit the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens every now and again. I imagine you’re a bit far upstate for that!!

      2. MOL!!!! You are going to have a LONG wait ahead of you because I have not even started it. I have no idea how to present the material … by subject matter, by season …. which publishing company to submit my work to, and where in heaven’s name will I find the TIME to do this? But yes, this is a Dream, and darn it, I will DO IT!!! Thank you, Shrimp, for digging out that debit card. No rush here. Honest. GRIN!!!

    1. Dearest Friend, this is how this “works” with me. Those blue flowers were meant for this post. I have hundreds of pictures now to choose from, yet these immediately came to my mind after I wrote what I did on your site. I just “knew” these flowers would be perfect. And when you told me about the blue wild flowers you gave your Mom, my eyes filled with tears (again). I am so happy this post Blessed you! Love, Amy ❤

    1. Those flowers are in my Mom-in-Law’s garden. The flowers shown here are from the Botanical Gardens that hubby and I went to on Mother’s Day when we visited his mom’s memorial site. There they had many more plants then I do so that is when I decided to get these gorgeous shots of these gorgeous flowers. A field of blue. 🙂 Yes, we do remember those who have gone on before us, Sue. Love to you as well, my friend. Love, Amy ❤

    1. Magic is happening, more and more, Nx, with my camera. I am stunned, in absolute awe, of what I am capturing. Yes, what we know and feel are BEing transferred to what I am shooting, and when I see this, again, I am left speechless. The honor of what I am BEing allowed to do, does not ever leave my consciousness. In fact, the more I do shoot with my camera, the more in Love I become with Mother. The world that is opening to me and to all who view what I bring to Petals, is Pure Love, and nothing but that. (((HUGS))) Amy ❤

    1. Truth be told, Robin, my Dad in his last years no longer wished to be here. He more or less just gave up. His end was not pleasant and knowing this, my spirit is at Peace in that, he is right where he longed to be. Yes I miss him terribly and yes I have had a difficult time adjusting. Yet with all this being said, I am happy for him that he is now in Paradise.
      And regarding what you said about me, I am humbled, Robin. You have both inspired me and encouraged me to keep going in the direction I am, with one of my goals eventually publishing at least one book in order to reach a wider audience. Years of not knowing my “Purpose” all leading to the Present Day in which I really now know, is a Gift beyond all comprehension and words. Bless you for “seeing” my Purpose, Robin, and for giving me the incentive to keep walking the Path I am. (((HUGS))) Amy ❤

      2. Robin, I am SO humbled by your admission. Really. How I treasure you in my Life. Your honestly and your words that come straight from your Heart are a Gift I cherish. Thank you from the bottom of my Heart.
        My Dad is giving me so much more of mysefl then I even knew about. Very difficult to explain, but it is true. Pouring myself into what I do, I am discovering aspects of me that I did not know existed.
        Hope you are having a great weekend!!! My hands are again in earth!! LOL Trying to figure out as well what to do in one garden, that has little babies from the Mother plant and babies from another Mother all spread out. I have to transplant and move some plants, and at the moment, in the planning stage …. (smile) Sending Much Love your way, Amy ❤

    1. Thank you, Dan. I seem to be going through a transition right now and blogging is just not on my agenda. So much has transpired in this year alone, it seems I am just now absorbing it all. Bless you for commenting on this image. I’m really not even liking my own work right now. My work is going through a transition as well. (for the better)
      I’ve really appreciated our conversations in the past day or so. I haven’t been talking to many as I a find myself in this strange place. Seems I require alone time mostly. ❤
