Friends, the following images I took yesterday. They are of my Tulips, and what I saw made me run for my camera. The flowers have begun to form! OH for the JOY! We will soon have Tulips, and if my memory serves me right, I planted last Fall a variety of colors.
So, here we go! While waiting for rain to pass, I decided to edit the pictures today I took yesterday. Below you will see the flowers forming in Tulips. How exciting is this? Enjoy!!!

Wow, so excited to see those petals unfolding!! (Now where did I get that catch phrase from??) Do the reddish tones in the leaf mean the flower will be red as well?

Yes, the reddish tone means that is going to be a red Tulip. I know I have different colors as well. This is just getting so exciting for me, to actually watch the process of Life. Just wow! Love, Amy ❤

Your opinion means a lot to me, Dan. Thank you for realizing the tiny space I photographed. The buds are probably as big as the tip of my finger, if not smaller. My Heart smiles with great Joy knowing you are enjoying what I am sharing. Love, Amy 🌹

First the leaves emerge, poking green spear up through last Autumn’s leaves….then the buds form, secret, sealed heads sheltered in their foliage. Day by day, they change, until you can almost see what color the bloom will be. It’s exciting–and I look forward to it every Spring. All that beauty, unfolding, a banquet of rich color for Winter-weary eyes.

This process called Life IS exciting, and I as well will not ever tire of watching the Miracles unfold around me. Spring holds such mystical magic! Love, Amy 🌹

haha! I hope you’re over your cold by the way. Mine lasted so long and I’m hoping yours was not like that.

I think I am over my cold. Hehehehehe Again there, I feel so tired I am not sure. LOL Gardens this year are kicking my butt. It’s been so dang cold here, and cold and I do not mix well. I have all gardens in front done, the side (east) done, and now am in the back. Hopefully 2 more weeks I’ll be done. I at times need my head examined. Tell me again, why am I subjecting myself to all this work? I know. For flowers. 🙂

I wish we had a garden like you do! We have no water here in California though. (laughs hysterically and sadly) I’m glad you’re over the cold inside your body…now you need to get rid of the cold OUTSIDE!

We even had FROST here the other morning, And snow too. Really? I totally agree with you … this cold must go! Until it does I wear longjohns (yes it is true) and about 3-4 layers on my trunk of my body (I must have been an elephant in another life), with hat as well. Once it turns warm, it’s like someone waves a magic wand and all this glorious energy comes pouring in. I put another candle on the cake today. Yup, true. Total now is 27. 😉

Longjohns LOL! Do they have a trap door on the back? Hahahahaha! Happy Birthday! I’m so sorry I didn’t know it was your birthday. I hope you had a wonderful day Amy. HUGS!!!!

No, they don’t have a trap door. Today, honestly? Very tough even though it was a good day. First birthday without my Dad singing to me or getting a card from him. It hit me hard, Laura. In tears on and off today. I’ll be glad when today is over. (((HUGS))) Amy

PS Sorry about the water situation. Way not good. This poor earth doesn’t know what to do anymore. Cold here, too much rain down south, and you too dry. Dang!
