I took pictures of this Daffodil over a period of a few hours, while it was opening. I stood there in amazement as I literally saw this flower moving, all in one great effort to open. This is my very first Daffodil ever in my gardens to open this Spring.

Very beautiful Amy and nice for you to get that experience 😀
I have mostly roses in my garden, because they were here, when I moved in.

GRINNIN! So am I, Dan! I just brought out my tripod last evening in order to capture some tree leaf buds. I could not do it hand holding my camera, because with every breeze the buds would go out of focus. I have yet to look at this image in my editor, but I am keeping fingers crossed it came out as I imagined it would. It still was a challenging shot, with my right hand actually holding and cradeling the buds so all focusing and shutter release was done with my left hand. Between the actual focusing and the shutter release, I was SO absolutely determined that what was IN focus, would stay that way. I also had a 3 year old asking me questions and wanting to grab my tripod. Yep, it will be a heck of an accomplishment if what I set out to do, I did. I should tell the tale of HOW I got this shot when I post it. LOL Have a great day! I am getting ready to return outside to continue with the reopening of gardens progress. I am now on number 8 of 20. Whew!!! Love, Amy ❤

Correction, Dan. I was holding and cradling the buds with my LEFT hand and fingers, while with my RIGHT hand and fingers I manually focused and pressed the shutter button. As I am going about my morning chores, I was thinking about what I wrote and realized I got it reversed. 🙂 ❤

Yes, my friend, it is. When we struggle and fight against that which is within our lives, that is when we become our worst own enemies. We also must learn to develop the ability to discern what we can change, and what we are not able to change. There is a fine line sometimes in the knowing. May your day be a good one!! Love, Amy ❤

Yes indeed any form of struggle is counterproductive. Acceptance comes with non-attachment too. Thank you dear Amy be well.

Unfortunately, Sue, not all on earth are opening to Self, but rather still fighting so as not to know Self. We who embrace and reach out to the opening of Self, are those whose very Lives touch those who do fight. And in so doing, we lighten the vibration to assist those who are stuck in fear. Bless you, my friend, for BEing the Bright Light are you. Love, Amy ❤

How amazing is that! Me, with my limited knowledge of gardening, assumed that might have occurred over the course of a few days, but to have happened in hours…that must have been something to behold. Thank you for sharing that with us, and I really love seeing the high definition your lens in bringing out. And they say a watched pot never boils!

Oh, so that’s how it happened! That’s funny. You must have turned around and thought to yourself, ‘Now when did that happen?!!’ I might have thought it was an entirely different flower.

I really was stunned at the rapid pace this flower opened at. I have watched other Daffodils open and their progress in opening is slower. I think this certain one was so fast because it was my FIRST ever Daffodil to open in my gardens and She wanted to make sure she was first. LOL

Dearest Linda, I of all people understand when Life can be challenging. I am just SO happy to see you here again. I really have missed you! Just to let you know, I will be for the next few weeks, reopening my gardens which is extremely time consuming and a lot of hard work. I had posted a little while back telling everyone that my blogging will be dramatically decreased, as in visiting blogs, but I will try to keep posting as much as I can. I am finding so many precious New Growth that I am capturing with my NEW 100mm macro lens. Again, welcome back and I will be more involved here in a few weeks from now. I am just beginning garden number 8 of 20. I managed to do 7 gardens in 5 days span …. hopefully I will be able to keep this pace up or even get faster as I get stronger. Hang in there with Life. It can really throw you for a ride, OH do I know!!! (((HUGS))) Amy ❤

oh and one last note on the pualski general – well the best thing was walking in DC and seeing some NON civil war stuff. The area we live in (central VA) is such civiil war place – well it was refreshing to see a revolutionary war person – and then to have a polish general was even sweeter 🙂 – (and had to share with Her lady Rose-ski)

So beautiful. I love that you were able to stand and watch it open…something I have always longed to do. When my little ones aren’t so little it will happen for me! I wrote yesterday about seeing things as they are, so a little more synchronicity for us my dear. I love this post Amy!
LikeLiked by 1 person
Dearest friend, my gardens and personal life are so prevalent right now, I am only answering comments and going to blogs when I can. I am not surprised regarding the sychronicity going on between us. And to watch this flower open stunned me, because I really was not prepared at how fast it opened. It moved right before my eyes. I too want to slow down just to be able to SIT and watch things in my gardens grow. I really got lucky with this flower. The garden that it is in just happened to be the one I was working on. Hmmmm …. more synchronicity. LOL I Love you, Lisa! Love, Amy ❤

Thank you, Gigi. Of course, you are absolutely correct, for every individual has a different perspective on What IS. The challenge IMO in Life is to choose which part of duality one wants to Live which that perspective offers. Infinite number of choices … and all is GOOD. Hope you have been well, Gigi. I’ve been up to my eyeballs with earthworms, weeds, and mulch. LOL Love you, friend!!! (((HUGS))) Amy ❤
