      1. The red “heart-shaped” object in front of the flower I was shooting, is a petal from another flower. It was closer to the camera so the effect you see is the reason why it looks “special effect”. Blurry, out of focus and overexposed all gave me this what you see.

      2. Okay Amy, I looked at it again, this time not on my iPhone. Yes, I did see that the flower in front was blurred. I think whats giving it a bit of a ‘watercolor’ look is that the flower in that background is just super defined, almost as if outlined and then painted in. It’s beautiful!

      3. I wanted a real apparent look between the front flower and the one in focus. I know how to adjust settings on my camera to do that. The whole “trick” to this one, make sure my hand was really steady when I shot this image, knowng that point of focus would come in crystal clear while the forefront flower would have a blurred affect. That flower really looked like that, Marissa. It was the lighting. (smile) And a little know how on my end. LOL

    1. You are welcome, Kathy! Yes the red shape does look like a Heart. It blew me away when I saw this in my viewfinder. I’ve had many interesting images from this one bouquet of flowers. (((HUGS))) Amy

    1. It was a lucky shot, Dan. I was just gazing at the bouquet of flowers and when my eyes began to pull me to “shapes and shadows” and went to work with my camera. When I saw this in my viewfinder, I saw wow outloud! I saw a HEART and the way this flower was positioned, another wow from me. (smile) Love, Amy

      1. I also respect how you would not ‘copy’ other’s quotes and make them your own. You are a treasure which is wonderful to be part of when I visit. Thank you for giving us original thoughts/poems and beautiful photos. You are a gift of the best kind, Amy! Happy Easter (again) and hugs to you, my dear.

      2. Robin, I closed comments for two reasons. One, I am seriously busy Spring cleaning furniture today and was not planning on posting, and two, that suggestion came from someone very close to me, who I thought understood I really “hear” what I write. It was a gut punch to the solar plexus. And yes that person follows me, so when this person reads this, I hope the “surprise” of the content of that post, gets this person thinking. Yes I verbalized that would be cheating, but still this person insisted no one would know, so what? Wow, Robin, incredible, just wow. Thank YOU for your support of me. I have tears in my eyes, it just means so much to me. Bless you! Love, Amy

    1. I am very humbled, Randall, by your words. My Gratitude is complete. Since my Dad died, my writing has become stronger, more powerful, as has my photography. The pain of my Heart is being transformed into that of Beauty, and my Dad’s legacy of being an artist, lives on through me. Your comment has brought much Hope to my Heart today and for this I deeply thank you. May you BE Blessed for the Gift you have given me this day. Happy Easter, my friend. Sending Much Love to you, Amy
