  2. Oh my goodness, Amy! Now it’s my turn to tear up! What a beautiful picture too! You know I love those sexy reds! Plus new sunbeam effect? Is that new? I don’t remember seeing it before in your photography.

    1. Wow. Thank YOU, Cee. I remembered what you told me about reds and I applied that knowledge here. I also had glare so I added a little texture and then vinegrette with the circle of light to bring the eye to the center …. all to embrace togetherness. This was shot extremely close. I’m getting better at it. (smile) Love, Amy

    1. OH, Richard. *tears* I really and I mean really worked with this image to portray exactly what the words say. More went into the making of this then meets the eye. It’s subtle, or at least most of it is. Bless you for your kindness to me on this day! (((HUGS))) Amy

  15. It can come as no surprise to you that we have been on synchronous wavelengths again—or still—Amy. I’ve spent hours today working on a series of posts, an essay for a book, and a couple of letters, every one of them in one way or another on the theme of community, family, love, and mutual support. Every one of them, of course, influenced in no small part by our recent conversations that brought this eternal internal theme to the surface so poignantly and beautifully.

    Every one of them, in fact, being small imitations of your sweet imagery here. The incurved petals of the chrysanthemum all curled around to protect and reaching in in a great sweep of waves to support the small but essential center and in doing so, giving it strength and brilliance. The delicately balanced words that remind us how interdependent we are, and how uplifted by each other’s goodwill and encouragement.

    It is clear from this, as from so many of your comment-conversations with your friends and community here over time, that you are as much a blessing as blessed, as much a gift as gifted, and I thank you for that.

    1. I in return thank you, Kathryn. Your words of themselves are so beautifully written, as you with such expertise paint pictures with your words. What you can do with the English language leaves me in utter amazement every time we correspond with the other. Yes, this theme has been prevalent, with many around me opening their Hearts wider and sharing deep scars within themselves, thereby validating and healing all in one. The more we all reach out to each other, the more TRUST is gained, and the more confident we become to show ourselves to a greater extent. This is the Gift that WP has given to me. I have found kindred souls here, and in so doing, I have grown and basked in the Love and Support I have been shown. I clearly would not be who I am today if I had not made that huge decision to open Petals. How far I have come since that day, and in looking back, I did not ever expect to see me where I am this day.
      I am overjoyed you came here to read this post, for this is my way of saying and showing to you, how much our conversations of late have meant to me. I am so happy that this bubble of friendship is expanding and that you too are creating with it. When you publish your book, do let me know, for I will purchase it, without a doubt! I do LOVE books!
