Signs Of Spring (5 IMAGES)

    1. What amazed me that even with temps in the 40’s, those kids were wearing shorts Brrrrrrrr …. and these people were starting a barbecue. All of us are SO done with Winter here! I saw people walking all about but I am not too comfortable photographing people. The kids I did as a whole really not focusing on any one child. I’m glad you enjoyed this walk with me. These photos could have been better … I skipped one entire process I usually do. I did this post when I wasn’t feeling all that great, and decided just to leave it. (smile) No one would probably have known if I didn’t say anything. I could have gotten the forest in more dramatically and the kids in clearer. But, I published them as is. Does this mean I’m letting go of my perfectionist streak? LOL (((HUGS))) Amy

      2. Yes, the snow is getting old, Laura. And probably most peeps would not notice if I had skipped an entire step. I like them as is, even though I know I could have done better. And as for you, lucky YOU! Wishing I was with you to go shopping. I could use a thing or two. I bet you are going to get pretties for your vacation!!! LOL

It’s been such a long winter, and with the Light that is now here, I am getting rather stir crazy to see those flowers and other goodies Mother reveals to me. I won’t disappoint, and that is a promise! (((HUGS))) Amy

  2. Slowly but surely seems to be coming Amy and I’m so happy for you after the hard winter you’ve endured. I know these pictures are more for show of the finally thawing winter, but I still see the beauty and symmetry here!

    1. Bless your seeing eyes, Marissa. I always take photos in a way that when I see it, I know it. It is just not a snap of the shutter. No. I fill the frame in such a way to maximize what I see set out before me. And yes it is has been slow this thing called Spring. So cold yet, my friend. So cold. (((HUGS))) Amy

    1. This is why I posted this today, Dan. It is yet so cold and again snow has fallen on so many yet again. These images are a promise of what is to come. The Light was glorious that day, still chilly (only 40’s), but I saw LIFE. Yes, I feel like shouting, Spring truly is here. The LIGHT says so!!! Love, Amy

    1. Dan, really why are so hard on yourself? I should talk! I am walking away from that perfectionist streak though really I am. This post is a good example. I skipped one entire part of my processing process. I created this post when I was really tired, and when it came to the photos, and saw how good they look just as is, (but believe me I could have made them look better) I said enough. And so what you see here is an example of me letting go of always having to be perfect. *sighs* So if I can practice not being so hard on me, so can you. (smile) Love, Amy
