I love it, Amy. The way the light is bleeding off the edges of the petals. It suggests so much more than a crisp photo of “reality” might… The way everything is somehow merging with the light of all that surrounds it…
Oh, Michael, thank you SO much for this feedback. I edited this Rose in such a way to do exactly what you just described. I wanted the focus on the Light at the edges that suggest this Rose is glowing. Awesome comment, my friend. (((HUGS))) Amy
Thank you, Dan. Yes, this one is copied, saved and back upped. (smile) I’ve been busy today on my posts, as I shake a bug that just will not leave. Hope you had a good weekend. (((HUGS))) Amy
Getting over a bug of sorts, Kath. I’m taking it slow in the blogging world as I ease myself back into my normal routine here. Cleaning (as usual) is on the schedule, but I am taking breaks, coming here to answer notifications, for about 15 minutes or so, then going back to what I was doing. If that is too much, then I will lay on the couch for 5 or 10. Yes, moving is a LOT of work. Please don’t overdo!!! (((HUGS))) Amy
Why, thank you, Amy! 😉
Oh, btw, I think the shoots in your last post are daffodils, but if you knew that, you might have been wondering what variety? That we won’t know until they bloom! Hugs to you!
(smile) You are welcome, Eliza! As for your prediction, I think you are right. I kept all the bags the bulbs came in and one of them is eary Daffodils. Although I know I planted Crocuses in that very same garden. We will just have to wait and see, won’t we? LOL (((HUGS))) Amy
My color Amy. So bright and lovely, you would never think orange would represent so many horrible diseases, not only my MS, but Alzheimers and several others I can’t remember. I love orange though, it sends out such a glow and makes a day look brighter just being there, whether in a glass on the table, or the shirt you’re wearing, or I’m wearing. I just need a nice tan to go with it, but since I don’t spend much time in the sun because of the dangers it can wreak, tans are out of my life. Hope you had a wonderful day. Peace and love, Angie
I LOVE orange too, Angie. It is so warm and when seen, especially the bright vibrant oranges, this color brings such JOY to me. Ignore what the “boxed version” of orange means, and focus on the “out of the box” version of what orange means …. to be alive, and free, and beautiful, and JOY. Sending Much Love to you, my friend, this day! Love, Amy
I think the reason Orange is our MS color is because it celebrates LIFE and LIVING rather than focusing on the bad stuff, so that’s also my motto, CELEBRATE LIFE, MS doesn’t have me, I have MS. I’ll win this little game it has been playing on me, actually have already beat it back several times, and I wear orange because I LOVE the color. It lights up a room, and if I owned my apartment, I would paint it orange. I hope you have an ORANGE day, my Angel. Peace and love, Angie
I have an orange room, for real. One of my posts coming up this week is a pic of Molly, one of my cats. The orange that you will see is the color of the room. THAT is my dining room, a room facing north so it needed warmth. LOL Many shirts and blouses I now have are orange. Yep, warm and fuzzy!!! (((HUGS))) Amy
I really worked with this one, Ame, to “control” the amount of lighting where I wanted it. Of course, the lighting when I took this image helped immensely. So glad you enjoyed!!! Hope all is good your way! (((HUGS))) Amy
I’m just learning, Amy, really. Yes this took time but I just would not stop until I got the effect I really wanted. There is so much I still do not know, and still have so much to read about the programs I do use. Little by little I do learn, and what I do learn I put into practice so I don’t loose the learning. If you rocket through the learning, how can you apply and remember? Yes? Speaking of talent, your photos over at your place are truly tremendous and the story you wove, just WOW! (((HUGS))) Amy
I click, not photographing like you do and processing, that is special skills and expertise… I appreciate your encouragement and taking time to visit me. 🙂 (((HUGS))) Amy
Oh, Melissa! Bless you, my friend! I’ve recently had to slow down in the blogosphere, posting but keeping comments closed. I also have not been up to blogging much. Fighting a bug, and Life itself, wore me down a bit. Honey, your words bring so much Light back to me to assist me to keep going. Sending you so Much Love and appreciation, (((HUGS))) Amy
