“How to get a human’s attention when that human is fixated on some dumb white thingie with little black paw prints all over it.”

1.  Jump on human’s lap making sure tail is fully fluffed and in human’s face … or at least as close as a cat can get.

2.  Hunker down on human’s lap, and arch back to block human’s vision from that white thingie.

3.  If human still insists on putting attention on that white thingie instead of you, SCREAM in human’s ear!

4.  Finally, victory!!! One hand now stroking my back, but furget this human’s eyes … still on that white thingie!

Now do you see how tough the Life of a cat is? We have to work to get attention from these humans whose job it is to give us attention any time we demand it! Fur Pete’s sake!

    1. LOL I Love your sense of humor, Tiny. Oh I wouldn’t want any feline getting any ideas from Cookie. She is relentless when she wants attention, and the human you saw has such powers of concentration it takes a huge undertaking on her part to get the attention that is rightfully hers.       1. Amy, it’s even worse: Bumble is a poodle. But he could do exactly that to get my attention, I’m sure. So I had to be careful 😀 I’ve been busy and missed you too!! Hugs!

    1. Ken, she is only ONE of the smart, brilliant, TOO SMART cats we have. I don’t know how they do what they do sometimes, as I stand in a place in the house dumbfounded as to what I see unfold in front of me. LOL

  28. Hi milady Pink… gigoid here, making a pit stop to say howdy. Love the cat pix & tale (tail?). I wish I could come by more often, but, wanted you to know I appreciate your coming by ECR as often as you do. I do appreciate all my regulars, even if I can’t come by very often….

    Cookie seems like quite the typical CAT; they never fail to ask, figuring they’ll never get whatever it is they want by not asking…. which desires, of course, they have the inalienable right to have fulfilled by a human, at any time of their choosing….

    1. I haven’t been up to much blogging lately due to my Dad and all, but we all do what we can. It is my pleasure to stop by your blog when I can. And I am really happy you enjoyed Cookie, who believe me, does get her own way. She is relentless. LOL Many of my cats are known to get their own way. For example, I just came from taking a 5 minute shut-eye on my couch, and within moments of laying down, I had Karma on my chest (oh man!), Rusty on my left arm, and Doodles on my legs. Say what? How is a woman supposed to get any kind of shut eye when that woman gets bombarded with cats? Hehehehehe Yes I am Loved. No I don’t lay down enough according to my cats so when they see the opportunity, they take it and then some. LOL Love, Amy
