Takami, there are times my Heart pain is so great I do not know if I will survive it. I constantly go to breath to get back to Balance, and keep telling myself my Dad truly is in Paradise and living in Perfect Peace, Harmony and Love. It is the situations prior to his death that are horrendous in nature that I struggle to come to terms with. My friend, if I had been able to be there, I would have immediately intevened, saying no to medicine and getting Hospice involved. I, my husband, my brothers, all have concluded in our last days we will not be put into a hospital. It has just gotten that bad. I cannot even imagine what it will be like 20 or more years from now. I shudder just to think about it. Thank you for listening. You have eased my Heart immensely. Bless you for caring. Love, and (((HUGS))) Amy
GRIN!!! This was not easy to get that flower to pop out, Shrimp. I admit this is a very unusual shot, but hey, I tend to go after the unusual. Your human has very good taste indeed! LOL Love, Mom BonZo
Talk about unique! That is just exquisite! It took me a moment to figure out if that was a flower, vegetable or animal! Live the colors! Great eye in capturing that one Amy!
This flower was SO tiny as well as all that is the photo, but it doesn’t look that way, does it. It was quite the challenge to get that flower to pop out as I did. All that purple tends to blend together. I am glad you enjoyed this one. So did I! LOL (((HUGS))) Amy
Oh, how interesting. No, you definitely wouldn’t know it was so small. And you know, Amy, besides being able to frame a shot and ‘work’ it so well, you really have a talent for finding great shots. I wonder how many people would have even seen this flower much less saw the potential in actually making it into a lovely photograph!
When I worked as an SICU nurse, I learned how to really observe, to SEE things that are usually overlooked. My eyes pick up data now that usually goes unnoticed, so this is how I’ve been able to see with my camera as I do. My eyes become so sharp, so focused, and looking for anything and everything …. shapes, colors, light/dark, uniqueness anywhere. I have this ability to “know it when I see it” and that is when I hunker down behind my view finder and paint my canvas. LOL Wait until you see my post coming, Marissa. You are going to see my expression as I am photographing. There will be NO doubt in your mind I am really LOVING what I am doing. LOL (((HUGS))) Amy
Was this the post of you and your husband? Or is there another I should be eagerly awaiting? I really enjoyed that one. It was a nice personal touch. As for the training as a nurse, isn’t it interesting how one skill can help develop another?
Yes, Marissa, this was the post of my husband and I. I have another coming soon of he and I competing to get in focus something that was really challenging to photograph AND more sepia shots of mine as well. I have also found that all of Life that I have experienced has contributed to what I am doing in Life right now. Yes, interesting indeed!!! (((HUGS))) Amy
I can’t wait. I am finding the ones of you and your hubby very interesting and revealing of the photographer behind the photographs. Hope you are doing well Amy! It sounds like you are dealing with a lot of emotions right now and I just want you to know you are in my thoughts.
I am, Marissa, especially yesterday. Today I pulled myself together and I am determined that when those haunting thoughts come, I will release them to Love so that they become Love, thereby returning to me in Love. Cleaning and praying works wonders. I really am glad you are enjoying hubby and me …. more to come, guaranteed to make you laugh (I hope). Keep your fingers and toes crossed hubby will want to again go on a shoot maybe this weekend. I can get at least one post out of one outing with him. LOL (((HUGS))) Amy
SMILE!!! I really worked on this image to get that flower to pop and I succeeded!!! YAY!! Thank you for your wonderful comment, Tiny! I am SO happy you enjoyed this. Love, Amy
Thank you, Kathy. Working through some emotions right now to bring them to Balance. Not easy work. Yet I refuse to live in turmoil. Bless you for supporting me. I do Love you! (((HUGS))) Amy
