What will it take for Humanity
to see the Light
to change dysfunction to that of Love?

Yes it is easier to stay
in darkness and in dysfunction
for yes this is what is comfortable and is known.
♥
Growth which leads to Love takes great courage
much discipline and perseverance
yet it CAN be done.

    1. I so agree with you, Celia, we are long overdo to turn back to LOVE. There are times I feel like a broken record here at Petals, but if that is what it takes to get others to hear Truth, that is exactly what I shall do. Have a wonderful weekend! Love, Amy

    1. Cao, your words are so powerful that they hit me with such force, tears sprang to my eyes and I began to cry. I had to take my glasses off as I put my head in my hands to cry. To have but one person “see” me proves I have done what I came here to do. My friend, you have no idea how profoundly your words affected me. I struggle to find the words to thank you in return for the Gift you have given me today. I can only manage a mere thank you, humbly said, to you.   13. I see a lot of coming in to play here of what i know consider your ‘signatures’, the light in the back (which really makes for an unusual amber tone in the picture) and the blurring and focusing. It compliments your poem well, a light emerging from darkness.

    1. Beacause it is what we learned to do and because it is familiar. When we step out of our comfort zone, it is just that, uncomfortable. Being creaures of habit, we don’t like uncomfortable. But, that is exactly where the most gain and growth are found. Love you! (((HUGS))) Amy

I can’t tell you the times I have jumped into something I really didn’t know about, but hey, I was willing to learn, and hubby would just roar and fight me every inch of the way.       4. Hmmmmm …. as well as mine. I’m not to crazy about change at times, especially when it comes to me being very comfy doing something a certain way. One of my brothers is urging me to embrace more in photography, and I began yesterday. Now what to do, I have to study and learn. Yet, I at least am willing to try. (smile) Love, Amy
