    1. I have Scott Kelby’s book and that’s the book I opted not to read versus just playing. LOL I have experience with LR Mobile which I LOVE and now I am beginning to dive into LR5. ((HUGS))) Amy

      1. Aw, thank you, David. I am excited about always learning new. The trouble I have is buckling down to study. I prefer hands on. LOL I also have PS CC to study, but have elected to learn LR first. I already work in PS Elements 6 as my primary editing then from there I use my iPad apps. You have a great new year as well!!! I look forward in seeing more of your work. (((HUGS))) Amy

    1. LOL I amaze ME, Marissa. I have NO idea how I did this. I just kept experimenting and before I knew it I created what you see. LOL I SO knew you would LOVE this one! Tee hee (((HUGS))) Amy PS I will tell you though, my hands again were shaking trying to photograph a single drop of water. Next time, I do it on my tripod. GRIN!

      1. Aw, Marissa, I really have been putting a lot more effort into editing, learning as I go along. I still have yet to put in some serious studying, so watch out, here I come!!! LOL Your comments really help me, my friend, to push harder, to learn more, to tweak a little bit more … to be a bit courageous and go beyond what I usually do. I hope you know how deeply grateful I am to you. (((HUGS))) Amy

      2. Me either. I feel as if I have already begun, Marissa. I have two more flowers coming your way before my New Year post. This evening, truth be told, is my favorite one that will be posted soon, and when I see this image, my Heart just jumps right into my throat. I am so affected by my own work sometimes it takes me to other realms, no lie. (((HUGS))) Amy

  1. They both rate a “wow” from me. Sometimes the most beautiful ones come from not knowing what you are doing. Love these. Love you. Angie

  2. Oh Amy, you are an amazing creator. Agreed, both picks deserve a “wow,” but I can see how just a tint of color makes it pop more. Thanks for sharing your gifts of love and “awakening” all of us with your beauty. Happy New Year!

    1. I am indeed touched by your words of warmth and kindness. Thank you so very much. I extend to you a very Happy New Year as well, and may 2015 bring to you Dreams Come True. (((HUGS))) Amy

    1. Thank you, Laura. Next time I am using my tripod. My hands were seriously shaking with this photograph. One drop of water is really really small to get that close without shaking. (smile) Love, Amy

  3. Yes, WOW! What a photo Amy! Can’t say it’s your ‘best’, cause you have so many WOW photos!
Not only have I appreciated your photos but your comments (on my sight) as well through the past year dear.
Thank you very much for your kindness and may you have the happiest new year ever. with love, Eddie

    1. Eddie, your words touched my Heart and so I smiled. Bless YOU for all you have done for me by supporting Petals, and thank you for sharing your Light and Wisdom to all who come to your blog. Happy New Year, my friend! Love, Amy
