My Christmas Wish List (8 Images) + Music Video

NOTE:  I am just now studying my Samsung Galaxy Camera 2 manual (found it online) and with some of the photos here, I had the settings wrong. Even though some of these images are not AmyRose quality, I am still posting them so that when I do improve with this camera, you will see it. SMILE! …

I was so taken with this video when I first heard it on the Professor’s blog http://thepunchylands.wordpress.com that I decided to post it here for your listening pleasure. You can either watch the video, if you have time, or just listen to it while you read my Christmas Wish List. Either way, I HOPE you enjoy it as much as I did!

*For those of you who do not celebrate Christmas, my wish to you is … May the Love of this Season be known to you and your Loved ones, now and throughout the year long.*

Now let’s get on to my Christmas Wish List this year …

Right at the top of my wish list is Peace:

My second wish this year is my continued health and strength as my back and body heal from a severe back injury that happened in 1993.

My third wish is to have friends and family in my life, as we hang together on the Branches of Life.

My fourth wish is to see hubby become like a little kid again with his Heart a’smiling.

My fifth wish is to again see my Molly start eating who is struggling with Congestive Heart Failure, and even on medication had begun to deteriorate. Daddy found a Homeopathy Remedy that strengthens Cardiac muscle, and lo and behold! she is eating on her own once again!

My seventh wish is to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and may this year, you come to understand the real meaning of Christmas, that which is LOVE. Merry Christmas, my Friends!

    1. Thank you, Marissa. The one about my back is a dream come true …. really experiencing a decrease in pain and for the first time since my accident, I have HOPE that a day is coming I will be pain free totally. So much to be thankful for! So much!!! (((HUGS))) Amy

      2. Marissa, I have pics of me when the chronic pain was SO bad and those pics clearly showed how depressed I had become. To be free of that horrible pain, is a Miracle. It’s a Blessing, one that I will never take for granted. To go throughout the day relatively comfortable, and decreasing my pain medications lately … leaves me in tears. I plan to be totally free of all pain medication as soon as I can. I’ve worked so LONG towards this goal and I will not stop, you have my word. Surgeons look at my MRI (s) and tell me I should not be walking. Guess what? I am and then some. So Miracles really do come true, AND I am not an MRI report …. I AM ME. LONG story, one maybe I will post on Petals. We are talking book long though. (smile) (((HUGS))) Amy

      4. There IS HOPE, Marissa. You just cannot give up. No matter how much it hurts, no matter how much you don’t want to move, you just have to. I was bed bound for almost 2 years, and a drug addict. I arrived at a place deciding whether I wanted to live or die. I chose Life. This has been one of THE most challenging things I have done, yet I have. I cleaned up my diet. Stopped smoking and drinking. Ate healthy. Exercised doing everything I could. Got off the drugs. (that is a nightmare story right there!) Continued to do research on herbs, Homeopathy, supplements, everything I thought that would help me. I refused to let the doctors dictate to me what to do with my Life, and so I took control and yes, I have overcome, still am to a degree today. It just doesn’t happen, Marissa. You have to be willing to put everything you got into your goal, and walk it out. (((HUGS))) Amy

      6. I have a post coming that says … are Biggest Lessons become our Greatest Gifts …. and it is true. What I have gained in Wisdom and a whole lot of personal growth, could not have otherwise been given to me unless I was pushed way out of my comfort zone. It is just now after over 20 years that I feel like I am returning to Balance, to my Comfort Zone. It was a LONG walk. (((HUGS))) Amy

      2. LOL It’s on my NEW Samsung Galaxy camera, Amanda. It’s not an app. It is part of the camera …. Watching Amanda RUN to buy this camera. ROFLMAO!!! NO BOTOX! Once you start, you can’t stop. YOGA is the answer for beauty, my friend. I have just proved it by showing what I look like. That and good nutrition and good living. No smoking, no drinking either. Just saying ….. SMILE! Love, Amy

      4. Hmmmm …. trying to picture you with tatoos and failing. LOL Good for you with the Botox. I left a doctor’s office because I kept saying no to Botox which got the doctor po’ed. NO WAY! I am taking a class (SO HARD!) that is a combo of Pilates/ Tai Chi / Yoga at the gym I belong to. One hour class and I am soaking wet, sore for days. What this is doing for my health, and my body, Amanda, in all seriousness, money just cannot buy. Health is precious. And I have it now after loosing it!!! (((HUGS))) Amy

      2. Did you know the flip phones are making a come back with the “Stars”? Privacy is a big thing for these people and they are saying, the flip phones give that to them. So our hubbies are now in fashion. How about that? And oh, I have an old beat up wallet that looks not quite so bad as hubby’s but almost. LOL (((HUGS))) Amy

    1. Thank YOU, Laura. I learned in PS how to soften the skin for portraits, giving me (what I showed you) a more youthful appearance. Yes, I do have some vanity left, LOL. I also learned I would not want to do portrait photography … it is a LOT of work! And then some! So glad you were able to view my post here …. I really wanted to post a very special Christmas post. Above all else, if you don’t have health, Life is just not very happy. According to doctors, I should not be walking and need more back surgery. LOL But the yoga I do, and the diet I eat and the life I lead, all make me feel and look good. When I am very fatigued it shows and my age creeps through. I’ve been through so much with my health, and to be able to look like this now, after all I have been through, is a Miracle. LONG story! My beauty is from my Heart, my friend. Yes, I have been Blessed with physical beauty, yet that beauty is enhanced because of the Love I carry in my Heart. For many years I was very hesitant to show my face online due to men reacting to me in a way I would rather not deal with, and then women being jealous. But now? I am who I am, and IF I get reactions that are not of Love, it is not my problem. I feel good about me, something I have not had all my Life except lately. I’ve earned it.       1. You wrote a little about your health history in your about page. What I read there and the loving energy and gratitude you spread in your posts made me follow you. What I see (now even in a picture) is a face that radiates a zest for life. Therefore you inspire and encourage others. I understand when you write you were hiding. So did I. But not anymore since I finally startey believing in me again. We came from different corners and you definitely chose tve harder way. But as a result we feel this passion for life, live that passion and be grateful and happy. In the end that’s all that life is about. All the beautiful unfoldings, what we make out of it, and how life responds are only results.

    1. Thank you, Leanne. I learned how to soften skin in a portrait which gave me some youth. And I also was having a good hair day that day. LOL I learned portraits are a lot of work and something I don’t wish to do. Whew! I too am so happy to have met you, and I have learned so much from you this past year. If you look back and see my work from last Christmas to now, there is a huge difference. That difference has much to do with you and many incredible artists here on WP.     1. I must laugh because I am still learning on my Canon and I have had that for well over one year. Come to think of it, I think it is 2 years. There is TOO much on these cameras, so what I have come to do, is to wing it most times, just seeing what I can do, and if I run into problems, then I pull out the manual. It is amazing what one can produce by just changing WB. LOL (((HUGS))) Amy

    1. Oh, Niki, to hear your last words brought my Heart into my throat. I “feel” a change, a lifting, and there has been a huge attitude shift in those who I physically interact with. The “fear” and “disdain” seem gone. The photo of me here on this post was taken by a young man pushing a baby stroller, who, when he was passing me in the mall and saw me struggling to take a selfie, (not easy on my new camera), stopped to offer to take the picture. I was SO grateful to him, and as you can see he knew how to take a good pic. My smile of LOVE from my Heart instead of struggle to get selfie, came through just as I had HOPED.
