    1. Actually my iPad focused on the light snowfall instead of the landscape. I almost deleted this image, but then changed my mind, as I saw the beauty. See? Even mistakes can be a Gift. (smile) Love, Amy

    1. I don’t know if WP is in a funk or if it is your blog, but I don’t seem able to comment. I wanted to tell you what a terrific job you did writing your post AND how I noticed you have over 15 tags for your post. That means your post will not be seen in the WP reader. And oh, tags include categories as well. Whenever I see someone do this, I point it out to that person. I good friend saw me going over 15 and told me the WP “secret”. Now I give it to you. 1. If I could ONLY get to my printer …. I’m wracking my brains how to cut things out in my life, to no avail. But I really do thank you for the wonderful comment! (((HUGS))) Amy

      1. LOL just give away or sell away anything you haven’t used in a year. I tend to live on the light side when it comes to stuff but my sis is a packrat and once in a while I go help her dig herself out of stuff she has collected. I don’t let her even open any of the boxes that haven’t been opened in a year. The logic is that if she hasn’t needed whatever is in it for a full year then she doesn’t need it at all.

      2. My printer is a professional printer, yes mostly collecting dust now, yet I do plan on using it for my photography. I tend to be on the light side as well, but with some things, no. I’m so glad I hung on to the clothes I do have because they may be old, but they are better made then what is on some racks today in stores. Sometimes it is good to have a bit of foresight! 1. Angel, I know about the light colored fonts and how it doesn’t show on white background. I’m really trying to address this, yet this post just beckoned for this color. I really appreciate your offer of a reblog, and I do promise to get these colors so that they will show on a white background. May you be Blessed and have a great day! Love, Amy

This is such a beautiful photo and I would love to be walking there by the river in the fog.

    1. Bless you for your Loving words to me, my friend. Thank you. This actually is not fog but a very light snow fall. My iPad decided to focus on the snow and now the landscape. (smile) A mistake turned into a Gift. (((HUGS))) Amy

  3. What a beautiful sentiment, and the image you chose to go with it is perfect. I love the way the clarity fades into the mist on the far shore. It gives it a wonderful sense of mystery and even a hint of foreboding, because even midst such a lovely wish, who can say for sure what the future will bring. Thank-you very much for picture, and sentiment, and most of all, for adding some light to the world, simply by being.

    1. David, what a truly beautiful comment. My Heart was very moved by your words. There was a soft falling snow when I took this photo, and my iPad decided to focus on the snow, rather then the landscape … hence, the softness. I am so happy this post touched you. Bless you, my friend. Love, Amy

  4. Amy, it never happens you are off your blog. You promised do not visit the blog and post anything. It looks your blog is your life, not part of it but the whole. You have to be ready for your tomorrow Husband’s Birthday. Good luck with that.

    1. Oh, but I am off to the extent I am off, Alexander. I really am taking some days off from blogging. All comments are closed again and I am only answering the comments I do have. I talk to hundreds of people a day, and that is what I am not doing right now. This past snow storm really took everything I had. Yes, my blog is a big part of my life. Today I bake a cake and wrap hubby’s gifts for tomorrow. I am also resting with a good book. I am still recovering from that huge blast of snow we had, believe it or not. Have a great day, my friend. Love, Amy

    1. I LOVE this picture too, Tiny. It was a “mistake” believe it or not. My iPad decided to focus on the new falling snow, not the landscape, so that is why everything is soft, just a bit out of focus. At first I was going to delete then I stopped. Wait! This is gorgeous! So I did a wee bit (nothing muhc) of editing and voila, magic!!! LOL Welcome home! (((HUGS))) Amy

    1. Thank you, Brenda. Let me just put it this way. There are some people in this world who don’t know what they have until it is gone. Everything is not all “roses” in my life, yet I will not stop trying. Much Love, my friend! (((HUGS))) Amy

      1. It’s not possible to always blooms with roses unless you live in a rarefied greenhouse, away from the fresh air. Most roses need a fallow season, a long winter’s sleep. But occasional blooming in the good times, surely that is worthwhile, worth cultivating, pruning and preserving. Roses are a good analogy for relationship. 🙂

    1. Amazing isn’t it? I know. I know. This was a mistake believe it or not. My iPad focused on the falling snow rather then the landscape and this is what turned out to BE. I almost trashed this but then I really looked at this image and said WOW! (((HUGS))) Amy
