Friends, as of this writing, Lancaster, NY is in a state of emergency. We have at least 4 feet of snow on the ground, NOT counting drifts, and it is still coming down. We literally must dig our way out of our house. Yes, I snapped a few images with my iPad from inside of our house for you. I have never seen this much snow, with the exception of the blizzard of ’77.
I hope you can get a good idea of how much snow we have. The good news is, next week temperatures are going back up into the 50’s so this should all be melted. Another good thing, IF I can, I will document this storm. For now, the snow is coming down too hard and both myself and my husband must shovel out.
In closing, IF I am not online today I shall be in a snowdrift. LOL
(This is a little map and note my husband drew this morning, indicating how I will get over to the barn next door to feed the barncats this morning. Wish me luck!)
