  1. Aww yes but we are on are the edge is when we grow more and learn exactly how strong we are and how much we hear learned on our path called life to get to where are at today.

    1. Yes, Sunset, you are exactly right. Just before that leap, always I have a niggle of doubt if I can do it. Sometimes I lately ask why I waited so long. LOL Bless you for your presence at Petals, my friend. Thank you. Love, Amy

    1. I know you are doing it next Spring, Kathy. When that leap is all over and you are settled in your new home, OH just imagine how HAPPY IN HEART you will be. I am SO glad you enjoyed this post!!!! (((HUGS))) Amy

      1. Hi – I am terribly bad at responding to my comments – busy with work and then just disconnecting. I am so sorry. I am afraid I am not the most happy-go-lucky person right now and I am also feeling very insecure with my writing. Double combo – not good. I do look forward to your posts – they brighten my day. Thank you – Kimberly 🙂

      2. Kimberly, I too am going through a rough phase. No matter what, I just will not give in to the fatigue nor the thought WHY BOTHER? I encourage you to ground yourself with Mother Nature, to get quiet, to go within, to seek that which is making you feel the way you are so that you can understand. Perhaps this is just a small phase in which rest is required. I don’t know. Please know this, though, even though there are posts going up at Petals, there is a woman behind those posts who is ready to drop. So much has come against me lately to discourage me from continuing my Work. I hope this message encourages you to keep going just as I am. I pass to you Love and (((HUGS))) …. Amy

    1. Truth. She seemed out of it, slow, and I was able to capture Her with ease, even in manual focus. I could have told you this LONG story to the great lengths I went, but I don’t lie. LOL Thank you, Marissa, for your presence at Petals. It means so much to me. Love, Amy

  2. Awesome! And just think…when we get to the edge and begin to trust in our wings, it is then that the true journey begins, for once we take flight, the journey of life is filled with all the beauty our free spirits can absorb. Soaring, gliding and sometimes simply just perched on a limb, it’s all right within reach! And as for the photo, it is simply stunning! I hope after the photo shoot the ladybug “flew away home”…what with her children at home and all! lol Much love to you my friend! ~Matthew

    1. Wow. Matthew, you continue to stun me. Your words, your Heart, your Wisdom comes from a Source that is ageless. You inspire ME to keep doing what I am. I bow to you, my Brother of Light. I hope you are staying well hydrated. (smile) Love, Amy

  3. Your comments always seem to hit me with courage right where I am. I’ve not a new beginning, but sometimes even just a “readjusting” of the sails takes this same leap of faith that our wings will still hold us. You are a beacon of light on a hill to me Amy. 🙂

    1. *tears* Cao, I feel the same way towards you. Your Light is so bright, soft, and gentle, yet so very strong and wise. I was going to post something else, but my Heart pulled me, and I mean said RIGHT NOW, to post this one. I am humbled and honored that my words confirmed something for you, and my Hope is that they give you the courage to leap. That leap that yes I am very familiar with. Bless you for who you are and not compromising. I am touched that I have the privilege to call you friend. With Love, Amy

      1. And I shall enjoy to walk with you for as long as our paths our ONE. I am richer today then I was a few weeks ago, because a woman by the name of Cao came into my Life. (((HUGS))) Amy

  4. …. Love this image Amy! Just as the ladybug stepped into her new phase of being .. What if we see that there is no edge. It’s simply the next breath or a natural place to embrace.
Our thinking creates the edges, the beginnings and endings…

  7. To get to new beginnings Amy we always have to let go of the old.. And letting go and trusting the new can be a journey in its self.. So loved your photo… Here’s to our wings, and we do not all need wings to soar… .. 🙂

  8. That is a fine shot of that little lady bug, and she matches the sentiment of your words perfectly as she sits there deciding whether to fly or not. I love it. A beautiful composition.

    1. Alexander, thank you. I am waiting right now for Bill to wake up so that I can begin the festivities. I’ve been married long enough to know NOT to wake him up until he is ready to get up. LOL (((HUGS))) Amy
