    1. Thank you, Amy. I did some new editing techniques to get this image to look like a painting. Now what all I did, I really should have wrote down. But I did not so I couldn’t tell you exactly what I did. I know I used several photo programs. I really worked with this one in order to attain the look of a painting. And then I just stared for the beauty before me. I did the same thing when I took this shot. I just stared in awe. (((HUGS))) Amy

    1. Thank you, Kathy. This is the first Fall in many years I have truly cherished and enjoyed. I have you and so many others to thank for this. Usually with September I get depressed because my beautiful warm weather and flowers are fading away. This year I was determined not to be depressed but to get out there to document the glorious Fall we had this year. And I am really glad I did. (((HUGS))) Amy

    1. Yes, I deliberately edited this to make it look like a painting. The processing made the water look as if it had froth on it. When I took this picture, the water was calm. I am thrilled you enjoyed this, my friend. (((HUGS))) Amy

    1. I deliberately processed it to look like a painting, my friend. Again, I found myself in a postition that there was SO much in this image and to get it balanced was proving quite challenging. So, I decided to make it look like a painting for that is the way this image turned out to look the best. I am honored you enjoyed this post, Frédéric. (((HUGS))) Amy

    1. Dany, I thought I replied to this. But in case I did not, yes I do agree these were (yes they are now gone) great autumn colors. I just stared at what I beheld in front of me. And then when I went to edit this gorgeous pic, I just couldn’t get it to come in the way I wanted it to. So I ended up creating it into a painting. (((HUGS))) Amy
