As promised, I now reveal to you the owner of the flower I used in my post, “Bonus Fun Post”. (No matter what I have done, I cannot get the link to work on this theme. Sorry.) Her name is Leanne Cole http://www.leannecolephotography.com who most graciously came forward after I told everyone my horror of loosing all my photographs, and who actually gave me some of her own work to use on Petals. Leanne is the first person to offer help to me. I want all of you to know how big of a Heart this woman has, and how deeply grateful I am to her.

To all of you who offered me help, I am totally, irrevocably grateful to you too. These gesures of caring and friendship have touched me very deeply. Bless you all!

Leanne, I had fun with your flower. I deliberately changed colors on it to see if you would recognize it as your own, which you did not. That was the all time test for me. Why? If I can bamboozle Leanne who is top in the field of photography, I can and I will bamboozle you. How? I plan on using my flowers I already have posted on Petals, and re-edit them to make them look like different flowers. Now, my supply is as endless as the Universe. See? When one way is blocked, there is always another way. And I found it. (smile)

    1. Bless you, Leanne. As you can see I really have begun again. And there is now an added depth to my photographs that wasn’t there before the “incident”. There really is GOOD that comes from every situation. (((HUGS))) Amy

  20. Wow, what did I miss, Amy? I know your autofocus stopped working on your 50D, but losing all your photos? I thought you just had a back-up problem and hadn’t actually lost it all. Just shows I didn’t read it right. Yes, I agree there are many paths to just about everything and we simply need to seek them out and welcome other ways. Hugs for you, Amy, several hugs perhaps.

    1. Robert, I really am OK. At first I was devastated. But to rise above the devastation, I grabbed my camera to begin again. Yes, I have had multiple technology problems, one on top of the other, to the point, I just about gave up. But I didn’t, and I persevered. My friends who all came to my side to lift me up and to offer me help, motivated me to start again and to really get my creative juices flowing. I understand how easy it is to miss out on something, my friend, when WP keeps us all so busy. As does Life. (((HUGS))) Amy

      4. Well … that depends upon which lenses you already own, if you have any. If you have Canon lenses, stick with Canon. If Nikon, stick with Nikon. If something else, go with that brand. I am familiar with Canon cameras but sadly I don’t know much about video. LadyP is very sorry she is not more help to you. There are SO many choices out there that it makes truly the head spin! I know the more affordable Canon cameras shoot video, but as to 1080HD, I don’t know. All I can say is good luck, cause I know what a headache it is trying to choose. (((HUGS))) LadyP

    1. I really neve left, to be truthful with you. I kept up with the posting as best as I could, and in the meantime, running around like a chicken with its head off gathering flower photos. LOL (((HUGS))) Amy

    1. Oh, Lor!!! I am just in tears once again! The offers I have had just blow me away. My own family didn’t even offer any kind of help and to have friends such as I do on WP is a Heavenly Experience for me. This is a dream come true. I will let you know IF I run out of photos.
