Thank you, Marissa. I really am striving to get both the light and the depth felt in my photos. As the photographer, if you don’t get the angel or the light just right, the picture falls flat. I know. I have lots of those falling flat pics. Bless you for the encouraging and kind words. Love, Amy
You are good for the confidence, Marissa. Bless your Heart. My standards for me are quite high, and when I start going into a place in photography that I am not too comfy in, my pics are not what I think they could be. Room to grow and then some! LOL Love, Amy
Aw, thank you, Marissa. I am so so very grateful to you, because you really are helping me in the confidence department. There is so much more to learn in PS I have yet to know, and when I look at the bigger picture, I get very overwhelmed. What one can do with PS is miraculous to me, yet I don’t know how to do the magic. So far it has been pretty basic. I’m not including my iPad pics with that last statement, because that is another different realm. LOL (((HUGS))) Amy with a very grateful Heart
Little by little. It’s a bit like playing guitar. If you look at the big picture, you can be overwhelmed but little by little, you start to get better.
The poet in you comes to life once again. It’s like playing a guitar. I like that. Learn a new chord, play it until you know it, then build on that. I’m also good at puzzles. This is how I frame a lot of my photography …. looking at the bigger picture then zooming into individual pieces of that picture. I apply that to LIFE now, especially since I have stepped into busy. One piece, one chord at a time. Thank you, Marissa. (((HUGS))) Amy
You may not feel bright, but you are. We all have our off days, my friend. I was a weeping willow over the weekend. I could not stop crying. (((HUGS))) to you! Amy
Thank YOU! I saw this and I stood saying to myself OH I must get the angle perfect on this, it is just SO good! And here you are cofirming I did. Bless your Heart! (((HUGS))) Amy
It’s just puuuuurfect! The human studied FURtography and used to look fur shots like that- but now she doesn’t have her digital SLR anymore… And won’t be able to get one fur a long time. She has a digital camera but it’s not an SLR- snd she isn’t happy with the pictures she gets from it **(POUT)**
Oh, poor Human, Shrimp. That is just pawful. You think maybe you could set up a secret fund just for your Human, sneaking out a dollar here, a dollar there, and stashing it away until one day SUPRISE you can bring the secret stash to your Human so she can buy her DSLR camera? Dreams do come true, you know. Sometimes you gotta put some effort into them in order for them to come true. WE got a deal, Dude? A Secret Pact ‘tween friends, so we can help your Human out to do what her Heart dreams? I KNOW how um sneaky KATS can be so let’s use that to your advantage and do the grab and stash trick! High PAW! Love, Mom Bonzo
Thank you, Val. The message is powerful because I don’t care who you are, you can relate. Everyone has aspects of themselves they would rather project on others then look at. It’s far from easy to do look within and to be honest with ourselves. It takes consistent inner work to understand when we stop labeling ourselves and LOVE ourselves exactly for who we are, then we can begin to do that very thing towards others around us. As with anything, it all begins with the individual. With me and with you. Bless your words to me which brought forth more words to add onto those I had already written. (((HUGS))) Amy
Love the photo Amy, and the verse is perfect. So well expressed, I think you have looked into my inner self and seen what I’ve tried to keep hidden. (-)
Angie, dearest, I have a “habit” of doing just that. It is as though what I am guided to write, many can relate to on the day I post those very words. Yes, those words pertain to me as well. Oh believe me, they do. Hope you are well today, my friend. (((HUGS))) Amy
Love the photo Amy, and the verse is perfect. So well expressed, I think you have looked into my inner self and seen what I’ve tried to keep hidden. XOXOXOXO
Such an amazing gift you have with beautiful energy that simply fills the soul. Your photos are stunning Amy and this photo draws me into it. It’s like “home”…that familiar safe feeling when all just seemed “right” in the world. (deep sigh)
Always keep following your heart…and never forget how deeply you touch lives. A treasure indeed. Love be yours. ~Matthew
Oh, Matthew, how beautifully expressed. This is exactly how I felt when I stood in front of this scene. My soul became very quiet as I walked slowly back and forth vying for the perfect angle to shoot from. I found the perfect place, set my tripod up, figured out how low to the ground to shoot from, and did my thing. That scene pulled me right in, and get this, I was on my way to go someplace else to photograph when I was stopped by this amazing scene. What a Gift I was given and to be able to now give it to you, I am humbled indeed. Bless you! Love, Amy
How awesome Amy! To be guided and directed to such a beautiful place…there are no mistakes my friend. Indeed you were given an amazing gift and in doing so, you gave all who see this photo a chance to share in its beauty. Much love, ~Matthew
It is so wonderful to be able to speak Truth here when the world for most of my Life has turned from that very Truth. I am indeed honored that there are those that come here that really do want to hear Truth. Bless you! Love, Amy
Poignant verse, beautiful picture. I love the sense of depth.

There is something which really draws me into this image. The mysterious path that leads you to the woods or the mood in the image? I don’t know.
One thing I could say is, I can totally relate to the mood in the lines and the image.
Beautiful post, Amy 🙂 Have a beautiful day ahead…
