  2. Oh, my goodness! My mouth dropped open. That is so beautiful and was really helpful having the times on each photo. It sure happened fast. Happy that you caught it!

    1. My mouth dropped open too, Kathy. It was surreal. Honestly. And it happened so fast that I really lucked out in getting what I did. I had wanted to get the entire sky with my other lens, but had no time to get it. I’m so glad you enjoyed this! (((HUGS))) Amy

    1. Tonya, you will NOT believe this but I just thought of you a few days ago. I was wondering where you have been. And here you are! How do you like that? Hmmm…. I know I am following you, but I see now my follow has been unchecked. I am coming over to see what you’ve been up to and refollow. *sigh* WP strikes again. I’m so glad you like this post! I even thought of you when I ate it. SMILE! I will figure out a way to get over to you even if I have to use my clunky laptop. *sigh* Who is the MORON who invented technology and forgot to take the BUGS out? DUH! Anyone with a brain knows BUGS are good for nothing, just something to crunch on as an appetizer. Gee whizzer! (((HUGS))) MB

  4. Our farm is located near the Coast of North Carolina so I am up before dawn most days years round. Whenever I see clouds in the pre-dawn sky, I grab my camera and head for the fields if I’m on the farm or the beach if I’m there. You need to get there before first light. As the sun rises below the horizon and its rays reflect off the clouds, the light show is spectacular but its rather quick. I see quite a few of these dawns on the farm, fewer on the ocean for some reason but when everything lines up correctly it is absolutely spectacular. Your shots are fabulous. Moral of the story…always put a wide angle on your camera before you go to bed at night. Cheers!!

    1. They hold Powerful Healing, Lorrie. The next day both hubs and I were SO out of it. I KNOW it was because of this sunset. I have NEVER seen anything like this in my life! And I have seen some magnificent sunsets! Just WOW! I wasn’t kidding when I felt like I was on Holy Ground. If my knees were not so sore that day I would have fallen to them. (((HUGS))) Amy

    1. I know, Zia. These are otherworldly, for real. You would not believe how it FELT to be there in the person. I just about fell to my knees. My knees were so sore that evening that is what stopped me. I just drank it all in, no gulped it all in. Truly of Another World. Truly. (((HUGS))) Amy

I have been photographing the sunset, sunrise since March ( never did before) and I have found the glorious light in the frame puts me into some sort of high which stockpiles over the days! Sounds similar to your experience as you describe!

Hope there are lots of sunsets waiting for you love Gillxxxxx

  10. This brought an uprising of emotions today. The beauty of the sky is simply breath taking and not to mention one of my favourite things to do is sky watching. What amazing gifts and reminders are given to us by the Divine if only we simply open our eyes to see. Thank you for sharing your beautiful work and thank you for the kindness shown. May the light of love continue to shine through you always. Matthew
