Friends, it seems Heaven is a lot closer then we thought. Ever since Ajay passed away, I have been seeing his avatar “like” my “About” page. At first it really upset me, so I went to his blog and asked whoever is doing this to please stop. Evidently no one in Ajay’s family is doing this, because the continued “likes” have continued.
Is anyone else besides me getting likes from Ajay, our beloved friend who is now walking much Higher Ground? Since seeing is believing, I captured three screens, the first one of Ajay’s “like” of my “About” page for at least the 10th time, yet there was no date proving which day this was done. So I captured two comments, one above Ajay’s “like”, and one below, both showing the date and time they were written. Yesterday.
If no one from Ajay’s family is doing this, who is? Is this being computer generated, and if so, by whom? If that is a fact, how many of my “likes” are legit? Saying this, how many of any of our “likes” are legit?
If anyone has any answers, please do comment. And if anyone else is seeing Ajay’s avatar present day, show up, please comment as well. This is very puzzling, and downright troubling to me.

You know Amy, I think you should just receive these “likes” as an amazing gift. Whatever the cause of this like be – just think it’s a sign… you know, Ajay absolutely loved FLOWERS – I’m not surprised that, from where he is now, he still likes your post, and I’m sure he does. I’ve been to his blog, Maria, and the last post was from Ajay, speaking of his ill health. And then someone from his family told of his death in the comments. I honestly don’t know but what Frederic wrote I am going to see this as a Gift, that Ajay is really liking what I am doing here. And so be it. (smile) Love, Amy

Amy, funny you should mention this. I had a ‘like’ from Ajay too. It was on my about page – it was about 5 days or so, ago. I thought it was a little strange, seeing as he is no longer with us but who knows. Perhaps it’s a sign he is thinking about us all.

Yes, it’s a relief that it’s happened to somebody else too – When I first got the notification I felt really shocked. Then I thought, perhaps someone’s hacked into his account? Now, I don’t really know? It’s very confusing indeed! *Hugs*

Amanda, those are my thoughts as well. It was quite a fright the first time it happened, and then again and again. I don’t know who is using his avatar or why. I have gone to Ajay’s blog and there has been no activitiy since his passing. This does give cause for wonder. And here too, I’ve had so many glitches and probs with WP I honestly just didn’t know what to think. That’s why I put this post up. Now I don’t feel so alone in this. At least one other person, you, is experiencing this too. I wonder who else will step forth and say they as well are seeing Ajay’s avatar? I wonder. xx Amy

I can imagine how at first this would seem unsettling Amy…. Heaven is all around us.. So I would look upon the Likes as Ajay loving what you are convincing in your messages.. As Flowers too were his Passion…

Hi Amy, I also experienced receiving likes from Ajay on one of my old post about Bali. It happened last week. It was kinda weird but since my WP reader was in error mood last week then I thought it was an error. Too bad that likes does not mention the dates. Weird as it is and mostlikely you are right, heaven is closer then we thought…

I’m sorry to say I don’t think I had any interaction with Ajay and I can certainly understand that this situation can be a little unsettling. If I may offer an explanation. I know this has happened to me on at least one occasion. Someone will like a post on my blog, but it would show another blogger’s stamp as if the other blogger had liked my post instead. WordPress error I guess? But odd nonetheless. I’m in no way minimizing whats happening and I hope you can find some peace in this situation. Lots of love and support ❤

Michelle, I am looking at this as Gift. I’ve been having so much trouble with my reader now, I cannot even get to 5 blogs without everything crashing. So, I am looking at this oddity as a sign that all will be OK and that I am LOVED and that Ajay, who LOVES flowers, is letting me know he still is. I’ve been so aggravated by one after another prob here, that I am just about to say this is not worth it. I should never have contacted Support. My problems have just worsened. *deep breath* Others are having the same probs with their reader so I know it is just not me. No plot here to shut me down. That won’t be possible. I’m here for as long as my heart tells me to stay!! (((HUGS))) Amy

I am not familiar with Ajay but I trend to agree with Maria. Ajay may have someone that knows about his blog and may have let the person get access to his account or even that person resets Ajay account knowing that Ajay passed away. The person continues to assume Ajay’s role.

But that is the funny thing, YellowCable. There are no new posts on his blog. And the only time I do see this avatar it is on my About page. When someone likes a post, in order to like it again, you have to unlike it, then like again. I’ve seen Ajay’s avatar at least 10 times on my About page. I don’t get this. But after this post, I am done “worrying about it” and just letting it go. It’s happening. It’s happening on other blogs too, just on the About page. Perhaps one day the mystery will be cleared up. I am not even able to have the concept of what his family is doing to try to recover from such a loss. More then one place I have left notes for the family sending them my deepest condolences. The first few times it happened, my heart just jolted, and started pounding. I cried too. It’s hard enough to accept that someone we cherished is no longer with us, and then to see his avatar again, it was not a good feeling. I have two choices, neither by Patricia Cornwall. I think I will read the library one, (romance ….. yummy!) after two serial killer thrillers (OOOOOOOOO), and when I am finished go to the library again and look for Patricia Cornwall’s books. I received a book in the mail today (I bought it) by an author I know on WP. Neihtn. Do you know him, Shrimp? I’m reading his book called Village Teacher which is a BIG book, one that I am not able to um read at the speed of light. I think I will swtich from one book to the other cause I just luv reading FAST. Plus I just have to get more library books. *stalling with gardens* *sigh* Maybe tomorrow. Nope, can’t tomorrow. I have to blog tomorrow. *sigh* See how tough it is fur humans? All you have to think about is food, sleep and sometime what that creature is going to do next. Tough life! Gee whiz! Next life I am going to be a KAT fur real!!! MOL! I’ll be on the lookout for the killer book. Hope it’s in the library.

I don’t know that author- & I know the human has never read him- she also loves the serial killer thriller types- spy novels- medical thrillers (like Robin Cook, Richard Palmer-) and tons of others- Robert Ludlum is another favorite author of hers– she loves a good book (and I love sleeping on them when she’s trying to read them)! Hrhehe

Well’ Amy, off the top of my head, I DO believe in paranormal events and although I don’t feel these things occur as succinctly as in the movies, I had distinct messages from my Mom over the years and it might well be just his trying to say “hello, I’m still in existence. And I still care about you.” And I think that is beautiful.
