This weekend I am a free woman! My husband went on a fishing trip with his brother. I helped him
pack rearrange his truck so that half a few items from this house, would fit. It was like doing a puzzle and I kept saying, “Are you sure you need all this stuff just for 3 days?”
Not 10 minutes after he left, the phone rings. Of course it was my husband, getting all worked up thinking he left his rain hat behind. Really? Are you sure? You’ve taken
half the house everything you need. Um, let me go check. I will call you right back.
I checked. I did not find that rain hat so I knew it had been packed and taken. I called him back and he told me, never mind, I found it. Well, that sure is a relief!
Waiting …. waiting …. phone is silent. OH,
HURRAY thank goodness!
When the time neared when I eat lunch, I opened the refrigerator and my mouth dropped open. My husband does not show his emotions much, but he does show them in other ways. Before me I saw how
extremely structured organized he is and how he labeled each and every container/dish regarding what it is and when to eat it.
Now I ask you, what other man do you know would do something like that? I even took a picture of what I saw in our fridge when I opened the door. Yes, my husband Loves me and yes I do recognize it. Yes he
drives me crazy is very different from me, but I do know he Loves me.
Look and see for yourself what Love looks like in my house. I am all set for food, believe me, and if I don’t put a pound or two on by the time he returns, it will be a miracle. My husband worked SO hard to prepare all my food because food is just that
obsessive important to men. Thanks to him, I do not have to cook or even have to think about what I will eat. He’s surely made everything convenient for me.
One other thing. Everything that is labeled, my husband made for me. I don’t normally eat chip dip but he made some for the camping trip so yes, I got some too. Will I eat it? You bet I will! This is a treat eating organic potato chips and homemade chip dip. And you see the container way over to the left on the bottom left? That is homemade chocolate syrup that he also made from scratch with REAL chocolate. I am truly Blessed.
I hope my post made you think how Love can show up in a different form other then what you thought Love to be.
