      3. Oh, Shrimp, poor poor poor baby. I KNOW how scared by KATS get with that horrible machine I use and there have been days I let go by knowing the house needs to be cleaned, but I just don’t. Everyone has to be in a good space when I clean …. or at least I do try. Poor baby! Ya gotta get your own iPad and PHONE to bring with you under the bed!!! That just is fair, don’t you think? Very concerned, Mom BonZo

  1. You were right Amy! This post is even more wisdom. This photo is so serene and calm. I want to be there right now. Thanks for capturing it’s magnificence for us. Even if we just take a retreat for our eyes. :0)

  2. Oh Amy,
I found a place today where many people who seem to have found peace in their hearts have come together!
It is an inner city children’s park that was run down, tagged to death and very scary. The city had no money to fix it up.
The neighborhood parent’s pooled what money they could, cleaned up the park and bought paint.
Well known Toronto Graf Artists gave time, and painted gorgeous colorful pieces in and around the park …. in the alleys and everywhere.
Even the wading pool is refurbished!
I am so heartened by what I found.
I’ll get this up on my blog as soon as I can, but I took a few hundred pics so it will take time to sort things out. I hope to have this up in a couple of weeks… I’ll let you know when I do because I know you will want to see the beauty.
    Peace and love,
    Resa
    xoxo

  3. Dear sis, if beauty is changing the world,
then you are part of the solution. 🙂 Nice shot!
Speaking of beauties and peace in the world…

Do people act differently in a pretty flower garden?
Is it easier to love in a gorgeous forest?
What sort of peace might we find, if we fought beautiful wars?

    1. Dear bro, if Peace is not within the Heart, no matter where the form for that Heart stands, there will be no Peace. For those eyes are closed, and those ears are closed, and the beauty around them will not be seen. People have forgotten beauty and the Road to Peace. I also thank you for the compliment on this shot. It was a bit tricky with the shadows. I got it though! Hey hey!! I also thank you for your thoughts. I’ve seen people tramping through forests disrepecting what is around them, loud, or on their tech toys oblivious again to what is around them … as I walk quietly as though on Holy Ground …. *sigh* xx Amy

There is a time and a place for everything? Please, forgive them. ((grins))

      2. Forgive those who do not see or hear … and HOPE that someday they shall. I everyday “see” a world founded in LOVE. It may not be this one, but there is one somewhere! I just know it. And that is where I am headed! Oh yeah! xx

    1. Thank YOU!!!! The shadows were a bit tricky and I had to really think where to measure my light meter. So I thought, took a shot, didn’t like it, and then another. I believe this is shot #5 where I was happy with how all light and shadow came through. Thank you, Chun. Love, Amy

There is no sense of incongruity.
It’s a very natural photo. And it is very important.
Technology that can be taken to pristine is great.

  4. Waterfulls are so tranquil. I suppose it’s the continuous yet steady flow of the water. It makes every throbbing worry fade away in comparison. All there is the water, falling steadily. And the amazing thing is, waterfalls keep going all the time. Whatever happens in the rest of the world, the waterfull will keep on flowing – steadily, throughout the night.
Unless of course there is a drought, which there often is in Australia 😦

    1. Yes, this is the amazing thing about waterfalls. They keep on flowing. We can learn from their example, how to flow with Life itself. We’ve had much rain here, so the streams and creeks are finally filling and the waterfalls are becoming full again. Thank you for commenting! Love, Amy
