Last evening, hubs and I went to the Lake front (Lake Erie) and there from a restaurant veranda, tested my NEW Android cellphone. Yep, I have graduated. I now OWN a cellphone.
To say the least I was pleasantly surprised by the ability of this phone. I also took photographs with my Canon, which I will be editing and showing probably tomorrow. Due to all the storms we have been having (violent!), the cloud formations have been outstanding this Summer. I concentrated more on the clouds then I did the overall view with my Canon. I took photos of the overall view with my cellphone.
Please enjoy the following phoneographs. When these were taken, a very heavy rain had just occurred so the water is very murky, plus it again was beginning to cloud over, so the little bit of sunshine I caught with my Canon, was gone. With no further to-do …

My iPhone takes some mighty amazing shots too 🙂 I’ve posted many and am always rather impressed….leaves me wondering why I keep my camera LOL 🙂 (though my phone doesn’t have all the fun stuff my camera does!)

Mor, I can see the difference to be honest. My Canon is a heck of a lot better. This cam is only 3MG versus my Canon is 15MG. That is a big difference. Yet, here too, these photos were taken in low light settings. I plan on working on the cloud formations I took with my Canon today to post tomorrow. (((HUGS))) Amy

By experience I use my Android Camera in daytime and my Canon in the evening or in darkness. Then both are optimal/.

I love that expression phoneograph! I think it did a great job. I always take my phone along because it does do really well at night! I have an iPhone 5s so the camera is 5mg and has a great video mode which you can freeze frame and take photos. I don’t know my daughter thought I needed it for Mother’s day so I take it along with my other two camera just in case. I love all your photos no matter what you take them with! Hugs to you!

I’m beginning to fall in love with my little phone. Took some more pics today of deep woods. I even have a welt on my face from a skeeter. And a gouge in my leg. These were deep woods!!! And boy did I get some pics. Probably Weds. Love, Amy

These are great shots. I am amazed at how good cell phone cameras are.
I just switched from a little iPhone to a galaxy mega due to my aging eye sight even with glasses. 😀
