    1. I have tears in my eyes. My hands shook when I pressed the publish button, yet my Heart was insistent that this message needs to be heard by so many. This one hits close to home. Bless YOU for the feedback and the encouragement. It is deeply appreciated. Love, Amy

  1. aww Amy what a beautiful message of love and the power it holds in this world…your pictures are amazing ( although I know i should not be comparing as all your pictures are beautiful, these are in my opinion even better than usual)…I am so glad you shared it! 🙂 hugs!

    1. Neha, this post is directly related to my life. I’ve seen the results of war and what it does to one who was exposed to it. War does not end when the war is over. That war continues for many generations yet to come. I am so relieved and at the same time broken in heart that we have no children. At least the war will end with this man who is my husband when he goes HOME. You have no idea how this post is affecting me, my friend. Love, Amy

      2. Thank you, Patty. My heart squeezes so tight knowing that there are so many living the hell of war in their own homes. I wouldn’t wish that on anyone. To choose PEACE one must let go of the memories. Not easy to do, and some are not able to do it. Bless you, with so Much Love, Amy

      3. You are so right. But hopefully one day wars will be only a bad memory and people will learn to live in love and not hatred.

      4. Patty, you were one of the people I had in mind to continue with the awards. I had to stop somewhere. This is one reason why I don’t do awards, because it potentially creates hurt feelings. Just know I treasure your comments and you being in my life, and I enjoy your blog too. (((HUGS))) Amy

      6. Patty, I am SO grateful for my friends here at WP. Because of me being different and how Spirit directed my life on a Path I did not see coming, friends and family dropped to almost nothing. I lived for a long time a very lonely life, one that I cried over. No friends, no social life, unable to travel, family walked away …. loss after loss. But out of that emptiness, Spirit spoke and guided and taught me. The results are what you see at Petals. Those of us who walk a Higher Path, do pay a price, and I paid dearly. Now that I have all these glorious relationships with these incredible people all over the world, I could not have asked for better friends. When one goes through a very dry period, or the desert, and then comes to an oasis, that one is so grateful forevermore. (((HUGS))) Amy

    1. In so many ways, this world idolizes war. Yet to live with the ramifications of war, is a nightmare. I pray some day Peace reigns upon this earth. I may not live to see it, but I am doing all I can to promote said Peace. Love, Amy

  2. This is so gorgeous Amy! Both the touching words and the photos. And it is so true! I mean, war can be so many things, right? Not only war between people and nations, But in any way or form it is a crime against Love. I love it when you say: Brothers love your sisters, sisters love your brothers. We are all in family with each other, we all belong to each other, and we all come from the same source, how is it so difficult for the world to see this?

Would that those who start War take heed.. But I know deep down I know the feminine energies are pouring forth as we ask the War-makers to look deep within their hearts.. 🙂

When my gaze is towards the world, my heart sinks and sometimes breaks. I get jaded too. Discouraged. I feel defeated at times, and just want to give up. Curl up and will myself to go HOME. But then I get another wave of “energy” and I continue. You continue doing the Good Work and somehow it will all come together someday. You are not alone, not by a long shot. We live on one acre of land and here is where I mostly stay. The vibes out in the world are just so harsh, yet when I do have to go out, I seem protected now, which is SO nice. There is a BIG change coming in, barely noticable, but it is here. And IF anyone shot any one of my precious babies, I don’t think Superman himself could hold me back from going after the person who committed murder. Oh yes, I do have Mamma Bear side. 10. Oh, Honey, I understand the anger. Totally. Whenever mine bubbles up I insist that it leaves. I had to put down 2 of my babies last year due to their abuse as kittens. One’s mind broke, and the other went into full renal failure. Just writing this I had to take a deep breath. I purposely surround myself with beauty so that the anger is healed. You are doing right by you. It is those like us who really need to stay as far away from humanity as possible. Hopefully someday that will change. All is GOOD, Bev. Think good thoughts, surround yourself with Truth and Beauty, and walk it. Live it. Breathe it. Be it. I do. This is how I survive. Love, Amy

  12. Your appeal to end the wars is very relevant and timely. This is true at all times. However, the history of mankind is the history of wars. Many fighters for Peace have lost their lives not on the battlefield, but by participating in peaceful demonstrations against the War. Nevertheless, the whole world is still covered by hotbeds of hostilities.

      1. When Human Beings, as individuals, begin to examine how they agree to be influenced….and how they choose to influence others….then we will have a better understanding of conflict evolution. The forms of influence serve as the basis for all Human-to-Human and Human-to-Nature interactions. Spiritual growth is dependent on the comprehension of these issues.

      2. Not many are willing to do this, Rob, for that would involve embracing those aspects of self that are not easy to admit, much less embrace. People for the most part, would rather project and blame others for their own shortcomings. It takes honesty and courage to go within, change those things that we were conditioned to believe that are in reality nothing but deceptions, to new patterns based on Love and Peace. I’ve also come to know that what we see in another, is something that is actually a reflection of self. I will keep on pointing the Way to Love, Walking Peace, and knowing that someday Love will Reign. That in fact, is the title to my next post … tomorrow. Love Will Reign. (((HUGS))) Amy

However, as to your post, I cannot agree more, especially with the encouragement to parents. All too often, as a high school teacher, when I meet a parent of a particularly bothersome student, I think, “This explains so much.” I especially empathize with the idea that Fathers, as men, must teach their children the inner strength and stability that comes from living a life of peace.
