    1. I know how that “miss” feels, Gill. We get so attached so quickly to these 4-footed angels. Hoping all is well your way. Rocky looks like he will be all right. Love, Amy

  2. So glad to hear your precious little one is ok. And I can understand he is a bit peeved at you! hehe. But once he starts feeling better, he’ll start purring again, I’m sure.

  3. Oh my..no, Im sorry I didn’t realize that about you Amsgirl, very very cool 🙂 I’ve always been interested in herbology…and take quite a few as supplements..but I think its marvelous that you apply it to helping your cats. I believe fewer chemicals/drugs would go a LONG way to making all of us far more healthy.

anyway..I do hope and will be praying that all shall be well. Bless you for Blessing them with your Love and Good Care 🙂

      1. I’m a HUGE animal lover and always recognize those who are as well. You remember my Hobbes…my 18 year old kitty that finally left this earth right? I am petless now! Mainly because we moved. We are going to get a dog in a few months though…my hubby wants one and I am nondiscriminatory when it comes to animals lol. I haven’t had in a dog for awhile so I’m looking forward to it!

      2. Laura, when my Alpha passed (at the time she was our only cat) I took it so hard that it took over 6 months for me to get another cat. Then one day, the urge to get one was so powerful and lo and behold, that very day, Karma came into my life. I will never forget that day. The moment he smelled me, he went nuts, crying frantically for me to hold him and to take him home. It was as though he recogized me, and to this day, that is what I believe. You are going to have so much fun with a dog. I am smiling just thinking of all the fun you are going to have. Love, Amy

      3. AWw thank you Amy! I love that your meant-to-be cat is named Karma! How fitting 🙂 It’s funny that I don’t take more images of animals considering how much I love them. When we get our new family member, I will not be able to stop clicking! Have a great day, Amy!

      4. You too, Laura. (smile) That is why I named him Karma … it seemed as though it was Karma the way he greeted me. Get your camera ready! A moving object is tough sometimes to photograph!!! I know. Tee Hee. Love, Amy

    1. Amy, he is still in a stupor more or less from the major drugs they gave him. I am going to do everything I know to make his recovery fast and easy. Oh, yes he will be medicated. A canine tooth is a big tooth! My Sweetie has had so many probs, and now that he is just feeling good after 2 years of probs, this happens. LOVE LOVE is the answer, Amy, as well as good care and prayer. Bless you for your caring heart!!! Love, Amy

  6. You know that he’ll forget it after a while, and forget his mother ever did such a vile thing to him. And you will be able to rejoice in his improved health.

    1. He is already, Sue. Already. I layed down for a power nap and he had me in tears. He jumped up and layed on my legs, and head bump after adoring head bump he gave me, telling me how grateful he is not to have that painful tooth in his mouth anymore. The tears dripped off my face. To know that this surgery was the Higher Way and that he is already bouncing back, brings me no greater JOY. xx Amy

    1. Bless you, Russell. I see you have caught up here at Petals quite a bit. There is just so much of you to go around, so I totally get it. Rocky is OK! He made it all the way. Then we had Rusty with a major crisis putting his life in danger. He was bitten by something and his left rear leg and paw blew up to about 5 times its normal size. First vet was incompetent and I have yet to speak my mind about that. Our usual vet the very next flew into action and he was SO bad, amputation of his leg was mentioned. His leg and paw were turning purple. WAY not good!. My husband and I study Homeopath, said NO to the amputation and when we got home started 24/7 to save not only his leg but his life as well. It will be 3 weeks this coming Tuesday that all this started, and the poor little guy’s one toe is still so raw after all that dead skin came off, and he is bleeding all over the place. It’s a miracle that he is OK, just now going through the final phases of healing. This one was too close. I am deeply grateful to our brains and our initiative to study beyond what traditional medicine knows, which in my opinion, is sorely lacking in many areas. Whew. That’s about it in a grand nutshell. Thank you for caring! I could talk all day about my cats, I just LOVE them that much!!! (((HUGS))) Amy

      1. Personally, I believe “traditional medicine” is beholden to the makers of traditional drugs and traditional instruments. With all that corporate money floating around, they’d rather take the easy but financially lucrative road.

      2. You took the words right out of my mouth, Russel. IF my husband and I did NOT have the knowledge and true grit that we do, Rusty would be minus a leg right now. That is another subject I could go on about for hours. I used to be a part of the medical system, as an RN, and today, I stay as far away as possible from that system, learning how to treat myself naturally. Yes, I do rely on medicine for some things, and my doctor finally understands not to ask if I want a a) flu shot, b) mammogram, c) tetnus shot, c) colonoscopy. I am healthy. Start fooling around with the body as medicine does, the body becomes unhealthy and there you go, more money for the Big Pharm and Others. I don’t wish to talk your ear off. Just know I am on the same page as you are and have taken the initiative to be responsible for my cats’ health and mine as well. And oh, I will not have my cats vaccinated either. I’ve read enough to give me nightmares what vaccines do to a cat. Enough said. I really do thank you for your comment. You made my day to know there is someone else who is not taken in my medicine.

      3. My father-in-law, a psychiatrist, is part of the medical industry, lock, stock and barrel. I’ve seen and heard enough through him to know that I want as little to do with it as possible.

      4. You are indeed a smart man. Knowledge is the Tool of Power. There is so much to learn regarding nutrition, keeping fit, and herbs, and Homeopathy as well. What medicine has turned out to be, sickens my stomach. It is barbaric, ruthless, merciless, and just makes so little sense to me. I wish you the best on your journey. If I allowed myself to think about getting “older” and having to rely on medicine, I could go straight into a panic attack. I do believe I would take matters into my own hands before I allowed that to happen. I also saw as an RN how doctors experiment on people of age, and I was HORRIFIED and OUTRAGED. I have one image in particular in mind, and just that one experience alone, motivates me to stay healthy and as far away as possible from doctors. I really do wish you all the best!!! You sound like you have got the blinders off and that is GOOD!!! xx Amy

      6. The biggest problem with WordPress is that it is open source, so anyone can contribute to it. Unfortunately, there are not enough people checking on the contributions, so quite often a contribution will wreak havoc, and we get unfollowed, links don’t work, etc., etc., etc. Ah, well, it makes blogging interesting!……LOL

      7. Keeps us on our toes as well. I just cruise along as best I can, don’t notice I haven’t seen someone in my reader (if you saw how many are in my reader you would understand LOL) and then one day, someone comes to mind, or someone comes to Petals and I realize I haven’t seen that someone in a while. As so with life …. we got a few bumps in the road here at WP. LOL
