You just brought a smile to my face. Thank you!!! I am waiting not too patiently, mind you, for the snow to stop coming down so I can create another macro series to put on my blog. (sigh) Mother Nature is in charge, not me. (smile) (((HUGS))) to you! Amy

WNY … near Buffalo. It finally stopped snowing, so I made sure I have my camera settings the way I want them… before I go out … and sure (shaking head and laughing) I have my White Balance set for cloudy and here the sun is popping out. LOL OK. Looks like I will be going back and forth with settings today. Now to get dressed with enough layers on that my own mother wouldn’t recogize me and out I go!! Ah! This keeps me young! xxoo

Thank you, Don, in Mass. Gone out, temp all of 7 degrees, and now back in. Too cold really to be bringing my camera out, so I was really careful of the winds. And the time I was out. I took my photos as fast as I could. 🙂

Thank you, Desiree. Bless you!! My photos I just did called The DANCE I was in a state of such emotional pain, my soul just weeping, my heart broken, my feet barely able to walk, YET … out of that pain, Mother Nature reached out to me and embraced me. The results? After I created that post, something in my heart just melted. I still tear up when I look at The DANCE. (((HUGS))) Amy
(blushing) Oh, Morgan, I am the one inspired by you! OH OH. There is my Rocky picking on Sassy. I have to give him something for pain before I go outside. Later gater!!! Love you!! xx

My Little Girl came into heat for the first time this week. Poor little thing. being that they are still living outside under the house, there is precious little I can do, but I suppose I will have to be prepared for kittens come spring …sigh.
Morgan, please get her spayed. Please. You won’t regret it. I’ve seen the misery that these cats go into. I encourage you to do it. Now, before it is too late. xxoo, Amy

No, Morgan, she cannot stay outside right after the surgery. She must be given time to heal, and she will need pain medication. I would say 3-5 days. Females end up with a big incision and even though TNR releases the females right away, it still isn’t the best way. Isn’t there any way you can keep her contained in a small room? I know from experience, once they start having kittens, it doesn’t stop. And then what are you going to do with all those kittens? It can get quite messy.
I know, I entirely know, but try explaining this to a headstrong, not all together well mother. Its a tough situation Im living right now, but Im struggling along as best I can. I do what I am able. Unfortunately, what I am able is not always what I want.
Morgan, I will pray that your Mom understands the ramifications of not spaying you kitty. That means many kittens. And more Toms around as well. Like I said, it can get messy.
You do your best. That is all anyone, including yourself, can ask of you. Love you! Amy

Oh, thank you, Linda!!! Itching for Spring to come! It is SO cold out here. Tonight is a low of -20 degrees and that is NOT windchill. I MUST make sure the cats in the barn next door are really well fed tonight!!! Poor things!!! Love, Amy

I really must, but can she stay outside once she is fixed until she heals? My mother will not have her in the house, though I’ve tried.??
