    1. Love is who I am, Lin. And yes, it involves standing up for oneself (self Love) and of letting go (again self-Love) which seem to me both happening in my Life at the same time. It all begins with Self. That is when Love can truly radiate out. When you have it firmly anchored within.

Thank you for BEing here. Thank you for Loving me.

      1. Very well said! It all starts with self…love of self, honor self, cherish self. Cats are good at this! 😉 Aren’t they wonderful little teachers! Heaven sent! My neighbors cat had aids and lived well into his late teens. He had a great presence to him that I sensed before he ever came into my vision when he came to visit my house. By the way I have a puppy named whisper.

Love you Amy! Have to sign off now, but catch you and all your beautifulness tomorrow!

        Hugs! Denise

    1. Lin, THANK YOU! This is something else that has kept me going doing what I do. I BELIEVE with my whole Heart that my babies will be healed totally. When I had to put Tigger and Benji down, it just about destroyed me. And my belief. But, I see now the “why” and for this I do rejoice and am grateful.

    1. Moonface, how lovely. What I didn’t mention was the YEARS of BREATHING that have been done on my Yoga mat, and that is probably one of the reasons why my mat in bag are so popular. My cats are actually soaking all that good energy up.

Whispers is young, healthy, and happy. He is staying for a while. Yet, the time when he no longer has “quality of life”, that is my signal to walk the Walk of Compassion. Hard? Break my Heart hard. But, I promised all these guys that when that time comes, I do it. For them. Because I LOVE them.

I also put water in their food every day. For the first time in the 3 years I have known him, his fur is getting thicker and more luxurious. It is all the good food, water and of course LOVE that he receives. 🙂

Love to you, on this Great Day! Whisper’s Mom

  5. I have a cat with feline aids also. She showed up two summers ago on my back deck and I took her in for tests before I let her mingle with the other cats . She had a slight positive line for Aids. But I kept her as the vet said she could only infect the others if she bit them. So I watched her and there was no conflict with the other cats. I knew I couldn’t put her back on the streets because she had FIV. She is happy here with the rest of our cat family.

Hi Whispers, you just soak up all those good energies from your Momma!

    1. Yes, both Whispers and Prinny are good babies and do NOT bite. People think FIV can be spread through saliva. No. When I do their teeth, which does bring blood to the surface, I make sure all instruments I used on Whispers and Prinny are washed and sterilized afterwards. As a nurse, I know about Infection Control and I am very aware of this to this day. My poor hands must get washed at least 50 times a day. I use my own bar soap that I make, but still, my hands are so rough.

      1. Ha, I know what that is like !! constant hand washing all day long from cleaning the litter box, or washing cat dishes, or cleaning up throw up, wiping up the cat food spots, and on and on. It’s a labor of love, and to see them sleeping peacefully and looking content, makes it all worthwhile.

      2. You got that right, Sunny. Last night, for example, I was getting another download. Plus, the pain level for me had been passed what I can handle. I didn’t know where I did NOT hurt. All I wanted was to crash on my bed. I still had the litters to scoop out. So I did. All because I LOVE these little angels. And then when I awake (NOW) I feel refreshed and renewed.

Every day this happens. I AM blessed, Sunny. When you live from a Place of Love, miracles really do happen.

There is my TT at the door in frigid weather, crying so I must get dressed to go outside, to lead him back to the barn and spend some time with him. He longs for me to stroke him, and now even pick him up to cuddle him. Labor of Love. Do you think I want to go out in 19 degree weather? No. I also have to feed the two barn cats as well as the birds. So I gulp my coffee and off I go. Dressed VERY warm.

        I Love you! Amy

      3. I’m so glad TT is letting you pick him up and hold him. My feral cat rolls over on his back and shows his stomach to me when he sees me. That shows trust. I can pet him but he gets nervous and growls if I try to pick him up. He gets so fat and chunky in the winter to stay warm. He won’t come inside.

I was wondering how it was going with TT . I’m glad he is making progress.

The labor of love for these angels is so worth it !!

      4. TT rolls on his back exposing his tummy too. When my guidance said OK to pick him up, I was amazed. It happened while the both of us were listening to two owls talking back and forth to one another. There I stood in the dark, holding a very heavy TT (he has gained so much weight to keep warm) and we listened to the OO-OO-O-OOOO. It was magical.

  6. Your cats are lovely! I love the photo of the two orange-colored cats in the laundry basket, but I also like this one. Nothing is more peaceful than a snoozing kitty. This is the best kind of yoga. I’m so happy this kitty has you to care for him. He looks sweet! Thanks for sharing your kitties… I’ve enjoyed ‘meeting’ them 🙂

    1. Hi, Hon, I have lots of sweet babies. But flowers are calling right now so flowers I am posting. I agree, that there is nothing better then to have a purring cat laying on you and near you when you are resting or sleeping. I just have to look at mine and my heart just melts. [GRIN] Love, Amy
